Hi everyone: I have been following the forum since getting an email from Todd telling me about the changes to keep things more civil. It looks like a big success so far and I hope it keeps going this way. I support such moves by Adam and am here to show my support for communicating in civil ways.
I wanted to let everyone here know we are throwing a party Jan 15th @ 6pm to celebrate my new studio. I am cooking some good food and will be playing. I wanted to invite anyone on the forum who would like to come. It is a BYOB and your dancing shoes. I am going to video/record it as well. Hope to see some of you there! We are in the Columbus, Ohio area. There is a great B&B on our street if anyone wants to be able to get a bit high and stay over. You are welcome to stay in my studio. It has a full bath and central air/heat/bed. There may be some members of the Virginia harmonica club coming and I offered them the same. the only restriction for staying over is guests must be non smokers. I am highly allergic and don't want any kind of smoke traces getting into the mojo of the space.
I will be doing this gig as a trio. One of my old world reknowned austin bandmates is going to be there on bass/accordian/keys. I am excited to get to do some hand held, off the mic harp stuff with a real band behind me. I get to twist it up alot more than with the 1 man band set up. He is also a world class engineer and is going to help me record it all. Here is a link about him:

I will have a local drummer too that plays with his hands to keep the volume down. Here he is at my last house party.
My friend Sean Carney, who won the International Blues Challenge a few years ago may be there as well.

Good to see you back here Walter - I checked my Atlas - Columbus is farther than I thought - I guess I will stay up here in the snow a bit longer - but it sure sounds like a great time!! ---------- If it ain't got harp - it ain't really blues!!!!
sorry guys can't make the party. Hopefully there will be some decent videos to post. "I will have a local drummer too that plays with his hands to keep the volume down. Here he is at my last house party." ?? wow, not even sure how to take that comment as I am a drummer. I can assure you that all drummers aren't "ear blasting loud" if that's what you think.
thanks again! I wish you could make it Adam. It would be a harp/1man band jamboree.
