It's scary accurate and really cool.

Chris did one for me, and there was a lot of truth in it. It's kind of like personality testing, but only a lot more in depth and gives better explanations of your tendencies and strengths.

Go for it! You may learn some stuff about yourself that you didn't realize.

Does it matter that Pluto is no longer a planet?

Seriously - I'm not taking the piss; I'm not a believer, but I do wonder how the reclassification of Pluto was met by astrologers.

Miles, in general, we don't talk about Karma. In general we don't have astrological readings. The line, in the past has been drawn somewhere around season's greetings. I logged on an saw both of these threads at the same time.

I'm non-religious and like to consider myself tolerant to most beliefs. The ban on religious discussion here has not been designed to deny anyone their beliefs but because people don't seem to be able to discuss the topic in a civil fashion. I actually like discussing differences of beliefs, but it doesn't seem to work here. It seems your complaint is not about religious discussion but uneven enforcement. Fair point, but like I said, I logged on and saw both of these threads at the same time.

I'll post this message on the other thread too.

Chapter 1: How You Approach Life and How You Appear To Others

Sagittarius Rising:

High-spirited, enthusiastic, and exuberant, you love adventure, change, exploring new territory, and are not happy confined to the same safe, familiar, secure little world all the time. You have a strong
restlessness and yearning for something greater than anything you've yet experienced, and you often live in your dreams and visions for the future. You tend to believe that the grass is greener somewhere
else and you like to keep moving, either literally or figuratively. Idealistic and optimistic, you always expect something better ahead. You love to have a goal, something to aim for, but once you achieve it
you are on to something else. You are ever on the lookout for new opportunities and you are a gambler, willing to take risks and to break new ground. The possibility of discovering something new is
what makes life interesting for you. You have great faith in life and bounce back quickly from disappointment and failure.

Freedom-loving and independent, you cannot tolerate being caged for very long, and friends and loved ones must respect your need for freedom of movement. Binding commitments and
responsibilities often weigh heavily upon you and you may resist "growing up" and taking on the limitations of adult life.

You are friendly and outgoing and have a great sense of fun and playfulness. You are also philosophically minded and often quite outspoken about your convictions and beliefs. Sometimes you get
carried away with your enthusiasm of the moment and you tend to exaggerate. You are often a big talker, full of big promises, and you are usually pretty convincing. You do everything in a big way, a
generous way. You like to have the best, and you heartily dislike stinginess, littleness, or pettiness. Your vision is always large. You are able to perceive the big picture, general patterns and principles,
and are well suited to politics, business, higher education or religion.

Other people see you as a good sport and a good friend, but one who is not always consistent and dependable. You may also be seen as a wise person since you do not get bogged down in pettiness
and trivialities, and are able to communicate a larger way of looking at situations, one that opens up new potentials. You are a person who believes in miracles, grace, or just plain good luck, someone
who never gives up on life, and you inspire and encourage others to keep looking forward.

Neptune Conjunct Asc.:

You seem gentle and receptive and often you do not make a clear, strong impression on others. You have an elusive and subtle quality, and people may be nebulous about who you are. You are
easily influenced by others and somewhat naive. You have a spiritual, mystical approach to life and are very idealistic and sometimes impractical.

Chapter 2: The Inner You: Your Real Motivation

Sun in Leo:

Proud and intensely individual, you really want to stand out, to be the very best you can be, and to be recognized and appreciated for your unique contributions. Doing something well and being
respected for it is extremely important to you, and you cannot tolerate being in the background, taking orders from others, or being "just one of the team". You must put your personal stamp on whatever
you do, and direct your own course in life. You need to have a place where you can shine, express yourself creatively, and be the one in charge.

You have big dreams and the determination, spirit, vitality, and enthusiasm to bring them into being. You also have a noble, romantic heart, and a love of the dramatic, colorful, and extravagant.

For you it is true that "all the world's a stage" and you secretly (or perhaps not so secretly) desire to be the Star or Hero in the play. You want to be great, and to receive the love and applause of an
adoring audience, even if the "audience" is just one other special person. You need someone to believe in you and your dreams. Though you appear radiantly self-confident and independent, you are
actually very much dependent on the affirmation, love, and recognition of others. You cannot bear being unnoticed or unappreciated.

You also love wholeheartedly and generously and really know how to make the person you love feel special. You love the magic of "being in love" and know how to keep the romance alive in your
relationships. You are also immensely loyal and will defend your loved ones and stand by them to the end - as long as they never offend your pride or betray your trust. However, you like to be the
strong one in a relationship and you really do not share the leading role very easily. Ideally you need to find a person who is as strong-willed as yourself, but who will not try to dominate or compete with
you.

Your strengths are your zest and love for life, your creative power, and your warm and generous heart. Your primary fault is your tendency to be very egocentric, so concerned with the impression
you are making and with your own creative self-expression that you forget there is another, larger world that does not revolve around you.

Sun in 9th house:

World travel, foreign cultures, and studies which expand your intellectual horizons and broaden your understanding of the world are very attractive to you.

You have a philosophical turn of mind and are concerned with seeking answers to the big questions of life or getting the overview of any situation. Abstract concepts and/or plans for the future
occupy your mind much of the time.

Sun Trine Jupiter:

You have big aspirations but do not struggle or labor to achieve them. Your self-confidence and inner harmony attract success and benefits to you in an almost magical way. Your optimism and
cheerful generosity also win you many allies and successes in life.

Sun Sextile Uranus:

The unusual and unorthodox appeal to you, and you do not allow tradition, convention, or other people's expectations dictate how you are going to live your life. You crave freedom, adventure,
excitement, and discovery, and are not afraid of change. You possess inventive and creative genius.

Chapter 3: Mental Interests and Abilities

Mercury in Virgo:

You are an exacting perfectionist with a clear, logical, analytical mind and an aptitude for work that requires meticulous attention to detail and efficient organization. Well-grounded and pragmatic, you
tend to develop specialized skills and technical expertise in some practical field. Knowledge, ideas, and theories don't really interest you unless they are useful in a tangible way. You are inclined to
analyze, measure, and dissect everything and to miss nuances, subtle shades of feeling and meaning. Your strengths are in your precise thinking, careful craftsmanship, and mastery of technical skills. You
tend to be very good at what you do and critical of others' work if it does not meet your high standards.

Mercury in 9th house:

You have an unquenchable thirst for knowledge and wisdom and for an ever broadening understanding of life. You are the perpetual student and will be involved in higher education, philosophy, or
religion. Law, broadcasting, publishing, or the field of communications are also areas that interest you. World travel and studying other cultures are also strong urges of yours.

Chapter 4: Emotions: Moods, Feelings, Romance

Moon in Pisces:

Tenderhearted and sympathetic to an unusual degree, you have an understanding of other people's feelings and needs which borders on being telepathic. You are extremely compassionate and cannot
bear to see any fellow creature - be it human or animal - suffer. Because of your kindness and nonjudgmental attitude, people in pain or confusion are drawn to you for help, which you readily give.
Sometimes your softheartedness is taken advantage of.

You are a gentle, poetic soul and have a great love and affinity for music. Because many of your feelings are nebulous and vague and you cannot easily verbalize how you experience life, music seems
a natural language for you. You are also tremendously romantic and are often "in love with love".

Moon in 3rd house:

You often make decisions solely for emotional or personal reasons, because something "feels right" or because you've always done it a certain way and you are uncomfortable changing it. Even when
you think you're being rational, your prejudices, intuitions, and feelings influence your thoughts a great deal. You are comfortable talking about feelings and personal subjects, and sharing confidences,
which enables others to express their own inner feelings with you as well. You have good psychological insight into others.

Moon Opposition Venus:

You have conflicting emotional desires and needs which complicate your personal life. You may feel that you cannot depend on your love partner to take care of you or perhaps you cannot decide
what you really want in a love relationship: a parent or a lover. If your needs for emotional sustenance and love are not satisfied, overeating (especially sweets) can be a problem for you.

Moon Square Neptune:

You are a dreamer, attracted to the inner, mystical side of life, and may have trouble distinguishing the real from the imagined or illusory. You do not enjoy confrontation and become very evasive
when problems in your personal life arise, escaping into your imagination in order to avoid dealing with them directly. You are also rather gullible and naive about people, especially if your sympathy has
been aroused. You are very sensitive to music and can use it to bring yourself into emotional balance and harmony.

Venus in Virgo:

You are quietly devoted and faithful to your loved ones, and often become a kind of servant to your love partner. You are more comfortable showing love for someone by doing something for them,
making something for them, or simply being there for them - rather than telling them so in a romantic, soul-stirring sort of way. You are timid about expressing too much sentiment or emotion. You also
underestimate your attractiveness and lovability and doubt your own worthiness to receive love and appreciation.

Venus in 9th house:

You are attracted to foreigners, exotic places, traveling, and to people who can expand your horizons, teach you something, or show you places and worlds you have never experienced before.
Sharing a philosophy or ideal with your love partner is important to you.

Also, you feel a love and kinship for people everywhere, not only with your own family, nationality, or group. Finding similarities and making links between people from differing backgrounds or with
different perspectives is a gift of yours.

Venus Square Mars:

You are intensely amorous and attractive to the opposite sex, and are not inclined to friendly platonic relationships. There is much tension in your love life - often because you put your desires ahead of
your partner's, and are impatient about having your love needs satisfied. The whole arena of love, romance, and sex is endlessly fascinating for you and you are not happy without a love partner. You can
"burn yourself out" by pouring so much of your energy into romance.

Venus Square Neptune:

You have a very romantic, idealistic vision of love and may be disillusioned to discover that no real, flesh-and-blood human being ever quite lives up to your dream image of the Perfect Love. Though
you frequently fantasize about love and romance, you may avoid becoming intimately involved with anyone or making definite commitments. You can be evasive and dishonest with yourself and others,
when it comes to love. Some of your love yearnings may be expressed through art, music, or an involvement with mysticism.

Chapter 5: Drive and Ambition: How You Achieve Your Goals

Mars in Gemini:

You are a "busy bee" - energetic, restless, and forever on the go. Your active mind is always buzzing with ideas and you find it difficult sometimes to relax, slow down, or take time to reflect and
replenish yourself. You tend to live on nervous energy. You can accomplish much in short bursts but projects that require long-term commitment, stamina, and steady, persistent effort are not easy for
you. You often scatter your energies into so many directions and activities at once that you cannot finish or follow through on some of them. You need variety, change, and mental challenges.

You have a sharp and eager mind, and you enjoy games and competitions that have a mental component. You like to match wits with someone else.

You often achieve your desires by your verbal skill, your ability to speak clearly, vigorously, and convincingly for what you want. Your drive and energy is more mental than physical. You use your
wit, intelligence, communication skills, social sophistication, and awareness to achieve your goals.

Mars in 6th house:

You expect to work hard for anything you accomplish and you have no patience for people who don't pull their own weight. Work is a passion for you at times, and you push yourself too hard. You
can be too demanding of the people you work with also.

If your energy is not invested in a job or career, you can become a fanatic about your health, and you may exercise or "work out" vigorously and perhaps excessively.

Mars Opposition Neptune:

Ordinary life often seems drab and uninteresting to you and you must have something that stirs your imagination, some vision or ideal or dream to motivate you. You have a strong urge to act out your
fantasies or to live your dream, and you will DO things that others only talk about or dream about. Artistic creation, drama, or other areas in which you can express yourself imaginatively are excellent for
you.

Work that serves only your own narrow personal interests does not satisfy you. You may lack the competitive edge, the fighting spirit, the me-first attitude that is often required for material
advancement and success. You also tend to either overestimate or underestimate your own power and abilities.

Mars Trine Pluto:

You have a strong sense of mission and you instinctively know that to achieve anything great, one must eliminate superfluous activities, and give oneself wholly to the goal one wishes to accomplish.
Your zeal, enthusiasm, and clarity of purpose enable you to succeed and to achieve whatever you aim for. You have a strong will, but you are usually quiet and understated about it.

Chapter 6: Other Influences

Jupiter in Aries:

You believe strongly in the power of positivity and in each individual's ability to make life anything desired through one's own initiative and effort. The more you rely on yourself, the better you feel,
and you find it difficult to ask for or accept outside help. The joy of competing (and especially winning!) runs deep in you.

Jupiter in 4th house:

You are very hospitable and love having a large, comfortable, gracious home where you can welcome guests as well as family. Your childhood or heritage was very nourishing and supportive, giving
you a solid, emotionally secure basis for your life, and you are therefore inclined to share what you have freely and generously.

Investing in your home or real estate is likely to be very rewarding for you.

Jupiter Opposition Uranus:

Your gaiety, enthusiasm, optimism, and a positive, energetic, upbeat attitude generate a lot of opportunities for you. You enjoy being spontaneous and taking risks. You must have a great deal of
personal freedom and independence, and prefer the "wide-open spaces" to a very rigid, structured lifestyle. Your sense of humor and playfulness enable you to make it through the rough spots in life, as
well as to bounce back when those gambles you make do not quite pan out. You enjoy surprises and exploring new territory, both intellectually as well as physically.

Jupiter Square Saturn:

You have an inner conflict between idealism, hope, and faith in the future versus doubt and oppression by limitations and practical realities. You need to develop discipline and patience in order to
achieve your aspirations. You will grow by learning to accept frustration and to persevere in spite of obstacles.

Saturn in Cancer:

You fear becoming emotionally dependent upon others, and may distance yourself or deny your needs for closeness and intimacy so that you won't be vulnerable to rejection or abandonment. On the
other hand, you may cling excessively or need constant reassurance from loved ones and family. Developing a deep, inner sense of security, as well as the ability to give and receive nurturing are
important tasks for you.

Saturn in 8th house:

Fear of the unknown, of change, and/or of death may plague you. You strongly resist changes and transitions rather than greeting them with curiosity or a spirit of adventure, which makes them much
harder for you.

On another level entirely, you are very careful about joining forces, and especially your material resources, with others. You want to keep your own and other people's property and assets very
distinct.

Saturn Square Uranus:

You become tense and upset rather easily. You become irritated by the unwillingness of others to make changes. Very serious about bringing your inspirations into concrete form, you are inclined to
forego tact and diplomacy in order to accomplish your goals. Your occasional outbreaks of brusque, insensitive behavior often do more harm than good.

Uranus in Libra:

You are part of a 7 year group of people who strive for greater equality in relationships. You treat parents, children, and spouses much more like friends and equals than other generations do, and
many of you will experiment with alternative marriage styles that allow for greater freedom and equality in relationships.

Uranus in 11th house:

You have unusual, even eccentric friends, and you are likely to join groups, communities, organizations, or clubs which promote progressive or unconventional ideas, social change, or innovation in
some form. You are dynamic and creative in business affairs and in organizations.

Neptune in Sagittarius:

You are part of a 14 year group of people that are extremely idealistic and farsighted in their dreams. Your age group is very liberal and expansive in outlook, and consequently churches become
much more flexible and more eclectic in their approach during your life time. Religions that do not adapt to the broad-minded attitude of your age group simply are unable to attract very much interest
and involvement from you.

A great deal of metaphysical musing and speculation is evident in your age group, and there is a very strong interest in all manner of psychic phenomena, UFO's, prophecy, etc. This interest will open
many new doors and insights, but will also often lead to a great deal of fantasizing and speculation that is taken more seriously than it should be.

Neptune in 12th house:

Compassionate and extremely sensitive to the emotional tones in the atmosphere surrounding you, you are naturally "psychic" or able to sense and understand much about a person without talking to
them or knowing them consciously at all. You are deeply interested in the hidden realms of life and the afterlife. Your powerful sensitivity may also remain latent or repressed through much of your life
and then be fully awakened in adulthood.

Neptune Sextile Pluto:

The entire generation to which you belong has tremendous opportunities for spiritual rebirth and awakening. This will not be forced upon you or precipitated by unavoidable events, rather it comes
from an inner yearning and a natural propensity to seek the depths.

Pluto in Libra:

You are part of a 12 year group of people who are deeply interested in personal relationships. Your age group has a deeply-rooted yearning to see people relating and communicating with each other
effectively and harmoniously. There is little egotism and a willingness to hear the other person's side of the story and a readiness to compromise and arbitrate different points of view. In fact, the need for
harmonious, peaceful relationships is so strong that there is a tendency to overlook real differences and to focus only on the similarities in an attempt to bring different parties into harmony with each other.

Interest in psychology and sociology is high in your age group. There is a tremendous heightening of awareness of social skills. Your age group will experiment with different marriage styles, family
relationships, and even business relationships in an attempt to bring fair treatment and effective communication between people. Interest and appreciation for other cultures is also strong, and your age
group will work hard to preserve and support the cultural heritage of all ethnic groups.

Your strong yearning for equitable and harmonious relationships is also reflected in major advancements in trade agreements, arms control, and international cooperation that are designed and
implemented by your generation. These agreements and policies foster a much safer and more cooperative environment for all, although there is also a tendency for greedy individuals to take advantage
of the conciliatory atmosphere and twist situations to their own ends.

In short, you are part of a generation of individuals who are deeply interested in other people; you are a humanistic and humanitarian group. You will struggle and experiment with personal
relationships, and forge new models for how people can relate as friends, family members, and members of nations as well.

Pluto in 10th house:

You have a powerful sense of destiny and may be unusually, even ruthlessly, ambitious. There is a very driven, compulsive quality to the way you pursue your career or other important life goals,
which is likely to win you both staunch admirers and vigorous opponents.

There is a very "radical" side to you, and you may want to remake or change the world in some significant way. Depending on other astrological factors in your chart and your own decisions, you can
be either very destructive or a powerful force for healing and positive change in the world.

Nate...it's time to lock both these threads. What the F**k have any of these got to do with playing harmonica.

If you want to talk about this there are a million other places to do it and there are a million programmes where you can type your details in and get all this nonsense printed out. Let's get back to what this forum is supposed to be about.

If some newby came on here and started two threads like this he'd soon be told where to get off by everyone, it shouldn't be any differnet for anyone else.

@oisin,

then read about harmonica and not about your harmonica friends. It's simple.

This is how life works, keep the ole pie hole shut and you don't get pie or anything else shoved into it. I ain't arguing, but you know me well enough that if you're going to try and shit on my thread, I'm not going to be idle about it.

So if you're looking for a fight then continue being stupid or if you're not looking for a fight then go away.

Otherwise gimmie your birth date and I'll run a chart for you too.

You brought this issue to the table not me.

Buddha, this thread is continuing to cause problems. It has nothing to do with harmonicas. You claim it is building community? Bullshit. For every person who is having fun there is someone else who is getting upset. This is as clear a violation of the forum creed as I have ever seen. If it was up to me you'd be banned. I don't give a shit about your topic, but I do care that you don't care to follow the posting rules. You seem to think your talent as a harmonica player excuses your shortcomings as a person. It doesn't. If I had the talent to be on stage with you I still wouldn't be caught in the same venue. I've had it. Get diagnosed with whatever your problem is and get treatment. I've had it.

nacoran,

it's against the creed to post what you did, wouldn't you say?

And how is posting astrology reports against the creed? You realize it's a science right? Do you not see that many members are requesting the reports? There is nothing malicious about this thread except for the few people like yourself that have posted in it. I have been posting with good intentions.

as long as people are requesting me to post the info I will, for the record more people are asking and are happy than not. Its only a few folks that have issues with it.

But let's take a vote, who here requests that I not post requested reports?

Democracy rules, unless Adam does.

Chris...you use the same logic for your posts as Scientology conscriptors....very manipulative. There may be people interested in this stuff but I for one don't believe this is the place for posting it.

It is not science right? It is bullshit.

@Buddha:

I read the "offending" thread in whatever forum it is. Maybe I've had a(nother?) brain-wrong, but all I see is frank discussion of a product. No malicious intent and certainly nothing that supports a scathing judgement on the core being of a fellow board member. Perhaps you can help me to see what I might be missing?

As for casting horoscopes, I cheerfully withold my own view on such things and cheerfully wish others much enjoyment - here and elsewhere.

Astronomy is science. Astrology is religion. There is no basis for it in science. If you chose to believe it that's your prerogative. I'm not going to get drawn into debating religion with you. When a moderator asks you to stop doing something and you keep doing it, that's not showing the moderator any respect. The moderation system has been blinky for the last few days. Sometimes I have the option to delete a thread, sometimes I don't. I currently don't. If I did, this thread would be gone. I don't have enough fingers to count the people who don't come to this forum because of you. You seem to be fine with that. That is what bothers me about you.

I think I'm going to take a break for a while. You can do whatever you like. You can drive off the women with videos of pole dancers. You can post 'science'. You can insult other members intentions. I just hope for your sake you're wrong about karma.

Regardless of what one thinks about astrology (or Buddha, or posting amp pictures or whatever), I am pretty sure it is not a religion. It may be a science, it may be a pseudoscience, but it is not a religion... and as such, I don't see how Buddha is in violation of the forum creed.

@nacoran

it's not religion and may not be science.

Either way, it's for entertainment purposes and so far the majority of people seem to be enjoying it.

you accusations have no merit. Pole dancing is an art much like playing music.

I have excahnged email with Brian today and he is fine about the whole situation.
It reminds me the case when were expressing your "concerns" about Jason's cry for help. How did it finish??? Jason told yo to F OFF and left the forum. I bet this is a story of your life. I will not leave the forum but will but tempted to fullfil the other part of the bargain. So I have a proposition for you. Why don't you start minding your own business and stop insulting me without any reason at all.

@Buddha:

Being party to a private exchange discussing a fellow board member's shortcomings feels more than a little wrong to me. Still, thank you for the offer.

@Leonid:

I don't know whether astrology is nonsense or someone is in the grip compulsive ego mania. My mind isn't large enough for that, but it is large enough to hold the idea that heaping wrongs on wrongs just makes things more wrong.

I do, however, believe that anyone making public accusations should be prepared to bring their case to the accused and/or the public and, if unwilling so to do and/or if the case is found wanting, should be prepared to retract and apologise for that accusation.

I think we can all be better people.

I'm fairly sure I can...
