Dude, we're both dead and we think we post here. That's why no one answers - because we don't really post anything. We only think we do )

I've never been to Vegas, or I might have responded with some recommendations. Make sure you take some notes/pictures and share your experiences while there. Have a good trip!

All I know is what happens in Las Vegas stays in Las Vegas, unless it ends up on Facebook, in which case all bets are off.

Yeah, if nobody responds, then just google blues jams in vegas like MP says.

Take advantage of the anonymity, cowboy up, put on your best suit (something special), some rose colored shades and pop in somewhere with your rig, ready to go.

Have fun you high rollin' hustler you!

The Sand Dollar Lounge. Great fun.

http://www.sanddollar.us/

I was in there one night when Nick Lowe walked in with Slash and asked to sit in with the band. Tore the place up. The Odd Couple.

And, its open 24 hours

re: Sand Dollar Lounge
wonder what kind of money they pay the bands?
I bet its a union joint which is more than most of these hell holes around the country want to fork over.

Dunno.

I do know that in the several months that I pretty much lived in the joint, many acts that were in town to play at other venues would drop in on a very informal atmosphere basis.

Saw a lot of surprises walk through the door.

Funny, I'm heading up to Vegas tomorrow. My best bud's havin his bachelor's party there... I'll let ya know if I see some blues and/or harmonica oriented stuff. I do know there is a House of Blues in one of the Casinos (maybe "New York, New York"?), but I'll let you know if I find something cool.

I'll be in Las Vegas next week, 6DecMon thru Friday.

I've got to make some runs down the face of the big Dam during the day, but I'll be lurking around town in the evening.

If anyone is headed that way the week before Leonid, post it here.
