Are there any flat ones that glow in the dark - or a marker that glows in the dark? I would prefer to label the harp on the low end rather than the high. My custom case from Slim is even cut that way.
I love the idea of the glow in the dark from Turbo harp, but I don't think I want the bump against my left hand.
Currently, I use either no labels or have used the small Seydel before. I run into two issues, cleaning a Special 20 in the Ultrasonic cleaner, which is hard on stickers.
At any rate, I have a silver sharpie I can use, but thought an easy glow in the dark option would be cool too. Thanks! ---------- Mike My Website My Harmonica Effects Blog

Those are pretty cool! I see they have the Seven Harp folding case for $30 and free shipping. Good price. I got my two cases for $20 apiece and they're great other than GMs are too big for them.
Oh, never mind about those cases. RockinRonsMusic4less has them for $17.25. He's getting Hohner Rockets in Feb too.
yeah,I like those stickers! ---------- Affordable Reed Replacement Marks Harmonica Tune-up

Hawkeye, they do, for $6. Their site is fun. I've got one of their magnetic Turboslide harps, and one of their neat Turbolids. (The Turbolids, sadly, don't fit on harps with custom combs- they require the extra width of the recessed comb.)

Sorry, they had a couple different kinds and I thought he'd missed some flat ones, but it looks like I was looking at it wrong.
Another option my be glow in the dark paint. I imagine with some stencils you could make them both more customized and cheaper. You'd have to check to make sure the paints were safe, but a quick Google shows lots of options.

So....labels come off when you use an ultrasonic cleaner? I have Seydel Noble key stickers on all my harps , and want to get an ultrasonic cleaner......will it 'clean' them off? ( some I have 'nail polished' on)......... ---------- Old Man Rubes at Reverbnation Dads in Space at Reverbnation Benny and Rubes at Reverbnation

I've never used any labels on my harmonicas. No need. Whether I'm using my Hohner case that holds 7 or 12 harps, I know the key by where it is located in the case. Anyone else use this method?

dude61..
This leads me to one of my musician's pranks.
Get access to a few harmonicas from this case and quickly swap out a few upper cover plates.
Then watch the fun, ---------- The Iceman

I like labels because I don't have to keep track of what I have at hand.
I organize my harps by the circle of 5ths, but I don't always bring all 12 keys. So my set of 7, let's say, may not always be the same seven.
In addition, I tend to use the same make/model in sets...and while playing, I might mix up the harps, or switch during song.
Mostly, though, it looks cool, espcially if they glow, lol. ---------- Mike My Website My Harmonica Effects Blog

Mike....a while back I wrote TurboHarp and asked if they'd just sell me the battery powered blacklight that they mount in their custom cases. They were very agreeable to it. I think I got it for like $20 or something. Check and see if they'd do the same for you, and you could keep the blacklight next to your harps so they always glow brightly. Looks awesome! ----------

I use glow in the dark paints from Hobby Lobby. There's translucent glow in the dark stuff that I mix with white hobby paint. I've had the same little 2-3 ounce bottles for probably ten years, and they're still fine. I use + for sharps, and - for flats. Non-harpers think I'm some kind of harp zen master. They're always fascinated by stuff like spare volume knobs and spare tubes, 'n' harp tools. It's like, "What the hey... I didn't know you need all that stuff just to play harmonica." Pretty funny.
