Chris Reynolds makes one: http://www.builderofstuff.com/harptool.html It's a really good price and I've been meaning to order one (mostly for the reed wrench).
In one of Buddah's videos on youtube he shows a swiss army tool that Joe Filisko gave to him along time ago. It had a reed wrench, a plinker, a reed scraper (which is pretty cool thing that the Reynolds one doesn't have) and a few other things I think. I doubt Joe sells these, your best bet would be to get one from Chris Reynolds.

It says that it's out of stock. Maybe we could get him to stock up... bundling our requests, or something.
I'd love to have one.

Buddha (Chris Michalek) occasionally makes these too. I think he sold a bunch at the last SPAH. I've used his (at his house), and it's a great all in one tool... ---------- ------------------

its just a regular swiss army type multitool with the bottle opener filed to a reed wrench an the knife made into an embossing tool. the gapping tool is a can opener an the plinker is a nail file. the screw driver is a philips head an all my harps use flat head.

The only tools I use are a small blade, an awl and pliers (to put the MB back together again). But one day when I've replaced all the nails in my harps, all I'll need is a screwdriver and an awl (oh, and a small blade for new MBs, but then I'd have to include the drill, so that would be part of the workshop equipment). How I got the awl is interesting - I had been using cocktail sticks, then at the same time I ordered a set of jewellers screwdrivers and watched the Joe Spiers videos where he uses an awl (or something like it). When my jewellers screwdrivers arrived, they came with an awl, to my surprise, so I use it. ---------- Kinda hot in these rhinos!

I think that Joe used something like a brass o-ring pick in one of his videos.

A south african owl.
An awl is pointed piece of metal attached to a handle Jon. Bit like a screwdriver with a point on the end instead of a phillips or flathead. Usually used for making holes in leather etc.

Obviously. What do you expect? I'm sure it still takes some work to convert and it only costs $10+s&h. Seems like a good deal to me.

Didn't that Brail guy poke his eye out with an awl, and then invent Brail with it?

Hey folks,
I've got about a dozen more of the knives I just haven't had a chance to make them up is all. I'll try to get them done soon. I didn't realize there was so much interest in them.
