Hi everybody, It's a pleasure to be a part of such a distinguished group of harmonica players. What a great resource for harmonica players of all skill levels. Thanks Adam for what you've done to advance the knowledge of the instrument. I'll try to keep dumb questions to a minimum and curb my newbie enthusiasm with the board. Anyway, I'm a amateur player...or am I ? I've actually recently received pay for a few gigs, so does this make me a pro never again eligible to return to amateur status ? I'm gonna try to get some video or audio posted soon so I can get some feedback from some of you seasoned veterans. Thanks and Best Wishes.

Welcome to the forum crispy! In terms of pro/amateur, there's no Harp Olympics, so I don't think you need to worry about any kind of disqualifications. ;-)

Well Hawk...with the public admission of wages earned I would suspect crispy should be more concerned with the IRS than with the IOC. :)
Hummm....audit vs pee in a bottle. I'm thinkin' most of use would have difficulties with both...
welcome aboard crispy!

@bluemoose

Which is why I'm thankful that my bandleader insists on being paid in cash. LOL. Though if it came to the pee in a bottle scenario, pretty sure we'd be busking in black and white stripes with a tin cup. :-)
