does someone know a internet site where I can find harmonica reeds? I got 3 harps with broken reed and I find it to expensive to buy a new reedplate
I search everywhere but can find a site with hohner marineband deluxe/crossover reeds to replace.

I think the only way is to contact Hohner directly. Someone's posted the phone number before (a few times) but I don't have it handy. I should add that to one of my lists. Oh, there it is...

Just get MP or Chromatic blues, from this fourm to change out the reed. You can get one harp repaired with shipping for about $15. I know, I've used their services each are great trust worthy repair men with a quick turn around. From Hohner it'll cost you $10 shipping and $5 a reed from what I read just for the parts. Mike

Shredder, is it you who bought reeds from hohner and did some fixes?
i went to hohnerusa looking for rivets and reeds to price them. i don't need them, i was just curious. ---------- fixing your own reeds or getting someone else to do it is very cost effective when the harp is a deluxe/crossover type. the entire plates are at least $40

No it twernt me. I wrote Dave Payne at Elk river. He said he didn't sell reeds and to call Hohner. Some one posted on this fourm that Hohner was low on stock in reeds for some keys. The cost may have been $2 each and not $5 but $10 shipping for a $2 reed is outreageus! Hell, I sent you 12 harps to you for repair in Hawii for $5 and I'm in Texas. Mike

oh, i get mixed up with peoples real names and monikers. right, you were my first big order and i was afraid of running out of reeds. no chance of that happening now. i don't mix up harmonikers though.
i think 50 cents for a $2 reed is good. dave payne has sent me whole bags of screws and nuts for around $5? i believe, and no shipping charges. ----------
