I did this with me new bass pedal i got for the suitcase its recorded live 1 track, but I did mix the final of it a little,I cant play the harp and Cigar box guitar and drums at the same time,I can barely do it with the guitar, but Im liking the sound of the new drums, what you think?
I don't know if you play 3rd yet, but it would be very cool to experiment with your playing.
The suitcase sounds fantastic by the way... I have been looking for one for a while to go with my pedal (I currently have a brush on mine for a snare (ala Deak Harp))

Hobostubs! That suitcase bass drum sounds really awesome! Just the right kind of thump for this kind of music. Also, your CBG work on this song is really great, and the lyrics and vocals are fantastic. I think once you've had a bit of time to work at synchronizing the bass drum and guitar (What I mean is just the time you need to get all the coordination down to play both at the same time), this song is going to be unstoppable. I love what you are doing here! ---------- == I S A A C ==
thanks Guys (KingoBad)I the know theroy behind 3rd position, but I have a few more lessons befor i get into it,so i havent really messed around with it much,I would love to have the harp in the rack for it,But Im new to playing a frettless CBG,and when I tried I kept missing the intonation of notes cause i couldnt look down and play;-)on a guitar I can do it sort of,But then my rack playing is limited, but thats what practice is for I guess;-) thanks isaacullah I understand Ive only had the bass pedal about a week befor that it was just the stompbox with the rattles and bells, and I wasnt happy with the sound it had,but I think with the suitcase bass drum and stompbox and some more practice It has potential.

thanks guys,I thought about adding some harp on the side, but I wanted to keep it all 1 track like it would be performed busking,Im trying to work up a set for that,I have a few with the guitar and drums and harp,But not that many for CBG And i really like the whole aspect of busking with a cbg,If I could keep it from getting boring,And eventually I want to be able to play one with the harp on a rack but thats tricky for me,I have a hard enough time just harp by itsself;-) ---------- Hobostubs
keep it up Hobostubs! Don't worry about it getting boring unless it is getting boring to you. People will dig it if you are into it. check out Jimmy Reed of the mississippi guys playing today. They play one beat most all night long. The better one gets the more they work off one beat. That is call having a style. Most players jump all over the map and never find one. Definitely your best so far, IMHO--I like the lyrics a lot--and it has a good emerging groove.
Last summer I studied Delta Guitar with Terry Harmonica Bean for a few days--and he says to just always keep putting on the rack and having a harp there--even when you're just practicing guitar--always have them there together--then, once in a while, an inspiration hits and you can just jump on into it. This has worked for me to help improve my rack skills. . . ---------- ==================================== Always be yourself--unless you suck. . . -Joss Whedon
