What is your Favorite or Most challenging Harp Technic Exercise ?

My favorite right now is doing Chord Arpeggios in every Octave.

Most challenging has always being keepingmy bends in tune w/ speed through my lower register ! ;(

I've been practicing on a treadmill. 2.5 MPH, 6% incline, playing blues scale, some improv, and some songs I know. Not to strenuous but after about 20 minutes you can start to feel it. And who can't use more walking these days?

c 10 hole 1st octave.
Major scale fragments without overblows.
Moving in the circle of 5ths.
c d e f g f e d c
g a b c d c b a g
d e f# g a g f# e d

There's more but this will get you started.
Some can't be done without overblows so skip
those for now.

Bend the note played in the first octave.
This exercise is meant for non overblowing.
It's for bending in the first octave.

1. Series of articulated bends at 3-rd hole, while keeping them in tune.
2. 3 octave F# major scale and arpeggio with C richter diatonic.

Playing "Amazing Grace" with a bagpipe-like drone, the way Howard Levy does it; in some parts, you have to TB 4 or 5 holes.

Icemaster- lol. I just had an asthma attack two days ago trying to play while I used my step machine!

It's not a terribly hard exercise, but it's useful. I practice getting a good seal on my cup by trying to sound the 10 hole draw on a 1-3 hole blow. Hmm, seem to be able to get a blow bend on something on the low end too. That's new.
