I might be taking a work trip to South Korea as soon as next week-any harp/blues scene to speak of there?

I think Seoul has soul. Best of luck, hope you're not there when the shit hits the fan.

Isn't Zhin over there, or is it Kuala Lumpur or even Singapore?

Zhin, I believe, is somewhere in Malaysia, possibly Kuala Lumpur, which unfortunately is pretty good ways away from South Korea.

I had a roommate from South Korea. Nice guy, if you don't mind thong underwear.

I still have nightmares.

Good Lord! I don,t know if I even want to hear "The Rest Of The Story".At least tell us that he was getting ready for a Sumo competition.Otherwise I think I,d rather be on the other side of the northern border where the lighting is alot dimmer.

Bump. Flying out Friday for a week, maybe.
"...a three hour tour, a three hour tour..."

I'll bring harps, but beyond the expat bars, I haven't read of any existing live band scene on Geoje Island(south of Busan). Might be a good time to get some Zoom H2 recordings done.

I will eat as much as I possibly can-I love Korean food, and to get it 'at the souce' will be a treat.

Korean Harmonica Links on Youtube

MBH doesn't support foreign characters, but that link uses the Korean word for harmonica. You could also cut and paste the word from there into a Google search and use Google translate to see if anything turns up.

There are some expat bars in the town we are staying in, and one had 'blues' in the name, but I'm not too optimistic that that's what I will find within.
