Wow, it never really dawned on me to funk up a spiritual(except for When the Saints go Marching In, which I do from time to time)-thanks for finding and posting this, Todd! That guy does a great job. ----------

What an amazing song! I probably know about 3 or 4 versions of it--in different keys--and I still just love to hear more versions of it. I wish there were more songs like it. . . ----------
Todd, that guy really swung that tune! It was great funky like that, I hadn't heard a version quite like that, which is hard to do with such an ubiquitous song. I'm definitely subscribing to that dude's channel.
Nate, man that was really great! Haunting melody and melancholic vocals. Recorded/mixed really well too. Again, it was a new version of a common song, and I really liked it!
Hobo: I liked it! I was worried that you were still "noodling" when I heard the harp in the beginning, but then when the drums kicked in, you started to swing it, and were playing melody, and it sounded great! It seems to me that both your harp skills and your songwriting skills are improving at fast pace these days! Great job! ---------- -------------------------------------- View my videos on YouTube!"

Tom I really dig that version. BTW that mustache makes you look a lot more 70ish and funkier. (no pun intended) ---------- With some latin flavour for you, chico!! :P
Just to make it clear, I'm only the voice in the background, not the one out front. That's my friend Jeff with the main vocal. My part is real quiet, just a little bit to fill out the sound. You kind of have to listen carefully for it. :) I kept making him turn me down in the mix. I was just trying to add a little flavor to the sound.
