How come there's only about a dozen of us marked on the map?
there must be more than that hanging out here. where are you all.

RonnyB...you are not far away from me and a couple of other harp players in the Southend/Chelmsford area. If you ever fancy going to a few local jams let me know. I'm off to one in London tomorrow night with another harp player....if you fancy it let me know, I can pick you up on the way up the A127.

I check the forum regularly so leave a message here and I'll give you my phone number.

"Shoulders"- I'm normally the tenor sax player from Fat45 jump jive band (as well as being occassional blues harp player with the excellent, but daftly named, "Derriere")- also formerly of "Swamp Things". I live near the Duke of Yorks + keep on meaning to get down to the blues jam at the Joogleberry but always seem to have other stuff on when it's happening!
As for other harp players- there's always Wilf Taylor- www.harpsurgery.com (over in Hove)

Jules, Fat45 sound great - i had a look on your website. I work with a chap who is obsessed with the 40's/50's style, fashion, music dancing etc...i'll point him your way - he may well already know you guys.

I had a quick look on the Joggleberrys website but could'nt find the blues jam - what night is it?

I'm up by the Racecourse/ General hosptial area and would be up for the joggleberry some time.

Another very good player (as well as Richard - not me!!) is Bill Eborn. He has moved into the dark world of jazz, overblows etc....but can still knock out a good blues number.

lovely to meet up some time

My pin is the same just Dunfermline UK and not my name. I've had a look but don't have a clue how to sort it.

“I work with a chap who is obsessed with the 40's/50's style, fashion, music dancing etc...i'll point him your way - he may well already know you guys.”…. I’d like to think most of the 1940s/50s dance crowd in town know us but any spreading of the word is always good!

@Trenton

You are welcome to come to the Backdoor Man Blues Jam in Bristol every thursday at 9pm in the Cornubia Pub, temple St and anyone else too

@Jim

Bath is a city in the south west of England and was the centre of the Roman Empire in the south west.
Well worth a visit if you are visiting from the US, as it has Roman baths, and has been a fashionable city throughout history.

Thanks nacoran, finally got my tag sorted on the map.

Also I know it's a bit early, and maybe a bit far north but the dates for the Dundee Blues festival are provisionally set for next year being the 1st 2nd and 3rd of July. I went this year and had a great time, well worth the visit.
