I can't say the word hurdy gurdy without sounding like the Swedish Chef. I've probably heard them before without knowing it. I remember seeing one on Antiques Roadshow, but I don't remember them playing it.

Do you think wooden hurdy gurdys have better tone than plastic ones ? Can you tounge block with one ?

Heh, something new everyday. I can't help to hear a hum of a vacuum cleaner in this thing (from a few clips on youtube anyway).

Do they make these playable with a foot peddle yet or will America's first hurdy gurdy maker create that? I wouldn't want to crank that for a set!

That Chris Turner guy needs a serious haircut. He should go see Howard Levy's barber.

I don't think I could go listen to a whole concert of this stuff although the first vid wasn't too bad. I do like a stong girl.
