Recently I have been getting a lot of emails inquiring as to what rig I play through....OK here is my setup. I use a Fireball V through a DD2 delay pedal and from there right into the P.A. That's it...don't know if that qualifies as a rig but it's what I do. Here is an example of what that sounds like. This is from SPAH 2010.

PT, your playing is such inspiration for me! Thanks a lot! Do you improvise on fly? I'm asking you because your playing is all about cool phrasing and ideas

It is on the fly about 95% of the time. Sometimes I have a rough Idea about how I want to start a solo but nothing after that. Thanks for the kind words.

Do you use impedance transformer and DI Box. Great playing, BTW, as usual.

PT's tone is among the sweetest of any diatonic player I've ever heard. He doesn't need any "rig" to hear it. But do take note that his cup is always focusing the sound right to the mic, with a fairly small opening in the rear of his cup, that he doesn't change much. This is really important for good acoustic tone but harder to do well than it looks. I've been trying for years!
