I've not put anything up here before and looking at another post earlier it looks like it is customary for new members to post some bit of playing. So here ya go, chop away :)

sounds good.

Listen to the bassist and not the guitar player.

don't be afraid to hold some notes.

Once you get some confidence in your playing, you could be dangerous.

Thanks MP & Buddha.

My daddy always said I know enough to be dangerous but I don't think he meant that as a complement ;)

You are very correct in that was the biggest sober crowd I had ever played in front of and I was stiff as a board. As for playing with the Bass, I totally agree. On this one the guitar player and I have been doing it as a two pc for many years and in that scenario I play a lot in this one I should not have.

Nice.

(I'm not sure it's a tradition yet for new members to post, but it should be.)

Sounds good to me too. Good rhythm, good pitch, the notes fit the song. There's a bounce to the rhythm, it's not wooden. I like it.

Cheers, wk

Buddha, I've got news for you-he's already a very, very dangerous man! At our meetings, when we want to hear clean and precise OBs, Beltone's the man we call on. One of these days he might even be able to get me to properly coax some overblows out of my tin sammich. One day.

I am also a new member who posts little but reads alot. After reading the LO thread (I'm not famous though LOL) and Paul Delay threads.....and the "customary for new members to post some bit of playing"....here is a song recorded at a public TV studio.

Is the drummer playing a flat tire shuffle rhythm?

@Bluemoose, I would think that is what they call a flat tire shuffle but not as noticeable without the rest of her kit.
