went through my harmonica orphanage/body parts supply stash and noticed almost all the SP20s, GMs, and 1896s weren't dated.
normally you'll find a date right above the 8 blow or draw reed.
what year did hohner start dating the reed plates?
just curious. thanks.

They first began putting production dates on the MS series when they were introduced in 1992. looks like the bulk of my reed replacement stash is over 14 years old. i rarely have a problem useing these reeds as spares.
