Ive got a few things left to do on my checklist. I have to work tonight till 8:00, and am seeing if i can get my traveling partner in line for the trip. Heading for the hills about 6:30-7:00am tomorrow morn Nashville, TN time...should put me there at/about noon. Im taking my digital cam for some stills and videos. Not much for memory but ill try to make the best of it n post it when I return.

my guys are probably passing thru Jackson, MS right about now, and possibly heading up towards Clarksdale. Life dealt me some lemons that I'm the process of turning into lemonade or I'd be with 'em...:-(

Well I'm going to play as much harp with my new amp and drink as much beer and watch as much hockey as I can all long weekend (here in Canada) just to spite them! Ha! Take that!
(damn I'm jealous.....)

Part of me really wishes I had gone down but I'm just the type of person that doesn't do much without a travel companion.
It's okay my money is going to a great music theory/harmonica instructor & perhaps I'll be much better player for the next get together in Mississippi.
Whatever it is they're doing I'll bet it's fun & that they are experiencing a lot of great stuff. Not to mention playing much more harp then I will this weekend, lol.

I just got a call from Harvey's cell phone...it was The SeventhDave, who introduced himself to me by rubbing in the fact that I'm not there. In the background were many laughing, toasted guys, on the way to the jam in Oxford...they're having fun whilst I redo a house. I'm looking forward to next year already-hopefully there will be one.

rubbing two sticks together to get a fire going. it is taking a very,very long time. they've started singing kumbaya by flashlight. all have produced harmonicas(strange coincidence!)

Brothers...you mention HOCKEY ( not "ice hockey"...just HOCKEY ) and Blues harp in the same paragraph, You better be talkin' Blackhawks....or [acceptably] Hawks !
{ Oh man...here I am in Cal-ee-forneeah in a snoot bar last night. San Josie and the Hawks tied in OT. Then Byfuglien gets the feed from Bolland and stuffs it. I shout in my best Lloyd Pettit: HAWKS WIN, HAWKS WIN, HAWKS WIN !

I don't watch a lot of hockey, but when I do I'm a Penguin, but I don't think I've watched a game since Lemieux and Jager.
