It's my 3 year harp anniversary!

isaacullah 949 posts May 17, 2010 8:30 PM	Well, technically, my three year harp anniversary was the first week of May, but I've been too busy with the end of the school year to do anything to mark it... But school's out for the summer, and I finally had some time to record a couple of songs I've been working on in my spare time! I suppose a double header of songs is a reasonable way to mark the passing of my third year of harmonica goodness! So here they are: both are little reggae ditties. The first is in 12th position, and the second incorporates liberal use of the 6ob! HUGE thanks to Adam for all his inspritation, teaching, and for making this awesome forum available. Another HUGE thanks to Chris M for teaching me about 12th position and overblows. It's amazing to me to look back on those early old videos of mine (which only Zhin saw), and to compare what I could do then with what I can do now... It made me realize that it all seeps in somehow! Hopefully by my 6-year mark, I will be half way decent!:) PS. that thing on the wall is "water pipe" to be used for tobacco smoking ONLY! ;) ---------- ------------------ The magnificent YouTube channel of the internet user known as "isaacullah"

What I'm doing at 0:53 is this: -6 -6 -6 +6 -6 +6 -5 +4 -45 -45 {-4b -3b -2} -2 "{}" denotes a triplet, but everything else is just straight eighth notes.
