A year or two ago, I'd be working roadhouse blues on my keyboard. Then, my rottweiler was constantly coming over and scooping my hands away from the keys with her nose trying to get me to stop playing. Well... I just finished several rounds of roadhouse on a harp, mic'd thru a distortion pedal and easily as loud as the keyboard ever was... now said rottweiler just sleeps next my chair while I'm practicing.
Harmonica soothes the savage beast.

Yeah, I sorta wish MY cat would curl up next ME when I play my diatonic, chromatic, or anything. It appears sometimes he can tolerate the lower keys, like Jawbones' comment. Instead, he quickly runs for cover underneath the couch. Poor guy. The hard part is...I used to ask myself, is it not good enough? Or, maybe if I played better, would he at least "hang" a little, and maybe sit in with some tastey meow meows.... Not yet, anyway. It hurts me..too.
