Olympic curling. I don't know why. I think I started watching because it's womens' curling and I'm a guy, but now I'm just listening. I should probably turn off the TV.

Lots of older Clash lately and Throbbing Gristle and local favorite Tales of Terror. Yeah, I know. WTF is wrong with me? I am totally burnt out on blues.

A few originals you've never heard of:
Electrocution blues Long lost way home Obsession Healer Live your life Complicated
Band is gearing back up after a 3 month hiatus...eeehah!
Well I'm battling the mother of all respiratory ailments (not serious) so I'm at home surfin the MBH forum with the cable TV blues channel on (hooked up to nice pair of Bose speakers).
In succession i've heard:
Earl Bostic - Flamingo Robert Ward - Your Love Is Amazing The Nighthawks - Down in the Hole Long John Hunter - Crazy Love Mike Zito - Shoes Blues The Fabulous Thunderbirds - She's Tuff Kenny Neal/Billy Branch - Goin' Down Slow Joe Louis Walker - Hustlin'
and right now ...Delbert McClinton - Hammerhead Stew
The only drawback..no video...audio with blues trivia.
And I can't jam along...lest I cough so hard I barf up a lung
JB Lenoir - Alabama Blues : rare and intimate recordings
Great stuff. Half of the record is a one-take session with Willie Dixon, where you can hear the two chatting, JB playing some of his tunes and even the two singing beautifully together.
Still Nat Riddles and Charlie Hilbert " El Cafe St" and Satan and Adam's "Word on the Street"
Word on the street is the best collection of music out there I believe......the busses, cops, and people Make it. And of course grooves nailed minute after minute after minute. Endless variations. Awesome
