"Satan and Adam" is going to show in quite a few theaters around the country. I just got an alert for an Austin showing:

S&A in Austin

Currently scheduled theatrical showings include the following cities:

New York City (Harlem and East Village)
Nantucket, MA
Arlington, MA
Los Angeles, CA
Hartford, CT
Houston, TX
Berkeley, CA
Memphis, TN
Raleigh, WV
San Rafael, CA

I'll be in Manchester, NH this coming Sunday when it screens at the NH Jewish Film Festival. No performance, just a Q&A. Well, a SMALL performance.....

The complete (and frequently updated) list is here:

S&A in a theater near you

There's also a preview page on iTunes:

Oh sure, Albany 'California' gets a showing...

:)

Oh well. I'll see if I can make it to one of the Mass. or downstate shows.

I've just found out that I will, in fact, be at the premiere of the film at the Village East Cinema in NYC on Friday, April 12.

Update: I'll be at the 7:10 PM showing at the Village East in NYC this Friday, April 12th. The director Scott Balcerek will be there as well, along with Rachel Faro, who produced HARLEM BLUES and MOTHER MOJO, and Peter Noel, the progressive black journalist who appears briefly but pointedly in the film. The four of us will participate in a Q&A after the screening.

I’d like to see this. I guess there is little prospect of an Australian release?

Lumberjack: Did you click on the link for the Houston showing? It takes you to the following page:

https://14pews.org/calendar.asp?pageid=15&calid=1892

It says "Saturday April 27, 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM."

Actually, I'm pretty sure that you WILL be able to see it in Australia by midsummer. Just a hunch. I can't say more than that.

Hey, Adam. I saw in the newsletter it would be available for download on iTunes on 04/12. But still, I couldn't find it. Is it there yet? cheers

Congratulation Adam. You're movie was favorably reviewed in Christian Science Monitor. That is no simple feat. Peter Rainer rarely gives positive reviews.

Kudzurunner, well anticipated.
I followed the link from newsletter: result = “not available in Australian store”.

I’ll just keep checking over the next few months.

Netflix came through last night with the Devil at the Crossroads flick.

Hi Caloma:

As it turns out, the documentary is available for pre-order on iTunes right now. I believe that it drops on Friday, May 3. That's when it's supposed to go live. There have been lots of changes as release moves ahead, but that's when it's actually supposed to be available.

I would urge anybody who is thinking about purchasing it to pre-order it NOW, because the sales company tells me that that will potentially help it vault into higher visibility on the iTunes platform.

Trending! etc.

I recently came across "Satan and Adam" in an unexpected but most welcome place: 30,000 feet up on a Cathay Pacific flight from New Zealand to Britain.

For someone who likes Blues and harmonica, in-flight entertainment doesn't get much better. I really enjoyed your fine documentary Adam - congratulations!

Phenomenal movie! So glad I watched it this evening. Gotta get my family to watch it before I drive down from Minnesota to Mississippi. Give them some perspective. Can't wait for HCH 2019
