Well I'm really enjoying playing lately . I started with an Echo around 1969 when I was about 11 years old . I was wondering if anyone lives in my area . I live in Tappan NY , Rockland County . Would really enjoy meeting up with a fellow harp player to share and learn a little better . Just putting it out there Rich P.S. maybe you know of a club in my area too

Put a pin in the map on the FAQ page. I'm in NY, but way up in Albany. You could also check the 'where are you from' thread to see if you see anyone closer. I seem to remember a few people from down river way. (Several up in Boston and down in Philly too, but that's getting even farther away).

Hi Thunder:
I'm a Rockland County native: raised in Congers, and my mom has lived in Piermont for 20 years. I'll be there briefly over Christmas....no time to socialize beyond seeing my mom. I'll be interested to know if you find any live blues in the area.

Hi kudzurunner , Well I think I had seen somewhere before that a member here was a native of Congers ( guess it was you ..lol ) Perhaps your mom indirectly knows me as I'm an Animal Control Officer in her area . I'm sure she's seen me in the area . I'll keep an eye and ear open for any blues in the area . I'm sure you're aware of The Turning Point right on Main Street in Piermont . Good music there all the time .BTW - I " clicked " on your user name and saw your profile . Then I " clicked " on mine ... nothing . Perhaps you could guide me to update my profile . Much appreciated my friend and thanks for your post . Thunder ( Rich )

Thunder, just click on the button up next to the log in/log out (top right under the headers) and you can edit your profile. I suggest if you post your email you disguise it a little bit so scraper programs can't harvest it. A lot of us would do something like myemailaccountname and I use gmail. Humans can figure it out but bots have a harder time.
