I saw this today (via Reddit), and thought it was a very cool concept for learning/notating rhythm. I hadn't heard of it before, so thought I'd share it here for those that also didn't know about it.

That's pretty cool. Much more intuitive. I wonder if there are any good tools for using it in the form of wheel metronomes online. That would be really a really fun way to experiment with beats- you tap the spots on the wheel and it gives you the rhythm.

Reading through the comments (and posting) I noticed he's planning on seeing about an app for it. The first thing that came to my mind when I saw it was that would be great for creating click tracks to play to for recording.

Glad folks found it helpful! It really "clicked" for me (pun sorta intended!)...
@nacoran: Yeah, an app for this would be REALLY useful for makeing beats on the fly. Could even be used to quickly "improvise" beats during a session...
FYI, I just found another useful little cloud-based beatmaking tool, patatap. I just spent a fun 10 minutes with this thing! Enjoy! ----------   YouTube! Soundcloud!
