To those of you who are familiar with the workings of tubes (or valves as they seemed to be called here in the uk)you will probably find this video boring, simple and amateurish but to the rest of you I give you the best explanation of how a tube works ever. I love how enthusiastic this kid is and now I know how they work I want to learn more I hope you enjoy this.

Good subject but I felt seasick for a couple hours after watching this on my phone. Take care if you are susceptible to motion sickness...

It's simple. Sound can't travel through a vacuum, which greatly improves the sounds of many beginners, but not as much as it improves the sound of beginning violin players. :)
