I haven't been there in awhile, but I tried going there last night, and it wasn't there. Today, it comes up with a completely different website, and if you click on the 'about us' tab, it has verbiage for harp depot. Did Coast2Coast go out of business, and harp depot just picked up the web address?

Probably. I bought two Deluxes drom Coast2Coast years ago before I discovered RockinRonsmusic4less.
I'll bet some companies just can't compete w/ guys like Ron around.
EDIT: In any case. I really liked Coast2Coast and as Winslow points out below, I don't think Harp Depot shares the same great reputation that Coast2Coast had.
C2C used to let you rate their products and write reviews. I wrote a couple. One on the Hohner MBD and another on the Hohner Crossover. I thought it was pretty honest salesmanship to let customers slam your product if they didn't like it. I didn't slam anything. Just pointed out that early MBDs were not fully sealed as advertised. ---------- Affordable Reed Replacement Marks Harmonica Tune-up

If I do a "whois coast2coastmusic.com" I get back Andrew Belcher as the registrant, and if you google his name...

Harp Depot bought out Coast2Coast sometime last year. Coast2Coast had a great reputation (well deserved in my experience) but John Watts finally decided to throw in the towel and sold out to Doc Belcher, who has bought up several nameplates from other online retailers exiting the business. Unfortunately, Harp Depot does not enjoy the same reputation that the original Coast2coast did. ---------- Winslow

Gnarly, me thinks that you have been on the west coast too long. Next you are going to tell us that you have a Woody. ----------

I used Coast to Coast for many years. I know John had knee surgeries about 2 years ago. He was in the store less and less. He is a good guy. I finally switched to Rockin Rons. Very fair prices Great service, good stock and Fast delivery.

The old site was still up just a few days ago. Too bad. John really was a nice guy.

I enjoyed C2C. I will remember it fondly along with Kevin's Harps and the FR Farrell Co. ---------- 12gagedan's YouTube Channel

I discovered C2C late. I believe they had the last of the $15 MS reed plates and their Huang pricing was so reasonable I could buy them for the neighborhood kids. Sorry to see them go. I can't think of a better guy than Rockin' Ron to fill the void. Good prices, 1st class customer service and speedy, speedy shipping.

I remember Kevin's Harps (which later became Harp House) and F&R Farrell quite well and Farrell for decades back when it had been a snail mail only service were the hands down best place for getting chromatics and a number of different tools for them and for a time, they were the only place you could get replacement reed plates for Hohner chromatics at a discount and their service was awesome, but you'd get into long, but informative conversations with the late Dick Farrell for literally hours.
As long as the Harp Depot people own anything, you can kiss them good night. ---------- Sincerely, Barbeque Bob Maglinte Boston, MA http://www.barbequebob.com CD available at http://www.cdbaby.com/cd/bbmaglinte
