Your comments?
I think it stinks to high heaven--and I hope this guy gets a bullet.
Talk about bad karma . . .

seems a bit strange that this seller "jimostudio" seems to primarily sell items relating to motorcycles then all of a sudden is dropping in a B-Radical at $2,500... Smells fishy to me. I wouldnt be surprised if the person selling it is the person making it.

Either way, for $2,500 I would rather put my money into a set of Joe Spiers customs, no question.

I read that eBay entry.
I guess I should have told them I had cancer and only one lung.
Then they could have engraved "Blow Your Lung out baby."
What a dick head.
There. I said it.

Here is a qoute from Rob Halford... He should repent and pay his own way to fly over to Rome and give the harp to the new Pope for free!

curious...I predict he will not get the offer he is asking for, but can't knock him for trying.

For $2500 the guy should have thrown in free postage, for crying out loud. That ruined the deal for me.

What did other B-rads go for on the 'Bay? ~$500 or so? $2500 is delusional. I seriously hope no one bids.

The guy's story is weird, but perhaps so weird that it's true? I don't know, and I don't really care, but that's a stupid amount to pay for a harmonica (even a rare one), and if anyone does buy that, then I've got a bridge I'd like to sell them too (and not to mention a harmonica that came within two miles of Bob Dylan's house once, and so is worth about $25,000...)

Edit to add an emoticon :-) ;-)

Might be interested in the Bob Dylan close encounter harp Isaac.... postage free?

Heck! What must the Mike Newell engraved B-rad be worth now?

I don't find anything in the story unbelievable. Other then someone spending way too much on a harmonica when they've never played one or know whether or not this could possibly be a good one. Also in the second image the person taking the picture appears to have ladies finger nails in the reflection unless I'm seeing things. I believe someone got caught up in the hype of the instrument bought it and later realized that maybe they could get more for it then they purchased it for. I bet if he had listed it $250 or something there'd be bids regardless of story. Why mark up such a thing 12x greater its original value? Why list it under "Vintage (Pre-1980)" when they weren't manufactured at that point? Probably best to realize no harmonica will make you a better player only practice practice practice, how many guys got high paying gigs from what I think is the worst built harmonica available, lol.

So he lied to get ahead of other customers in the queue and is now looking for a payday. Whoever he bumped from the list legitimately should sue.

When I gave up on Harrison (ordered and paid for 3, received 1), I sold mine for less than I paid. Took a while to sell it too! Brad did refund my money on the other 2. Went belly up 2 months later. Whew!
