I've seen this advertised before but never heard of anyone who used it. If anyone has one of these I'd like to hear from them. It looks kind of like it isn't adjustable or has a very narrow range of widths and thickness of harps it can accommodate. I see in the specs it has 141dB of headroom - that's up there in Fireball range. That means it will be clean no matter what - a good thing for some styles, maybe not others.

@Jinx

Yes for jazz/classical players, probably not for blues players.

Blues players WANT something that sounds like Deak Harp's rig.

Okay, slightly off topic, but still on the topic of mic technology... I see there are some USB microphones out there, including a ribbon mic, and the good old Yeti like the one I have. They all seem to be a bit big and clunky for stage mics. Is there something fundamental to USB mics that makes them so big? Is it because they keep putting multiple elements in them? There are much smaller USB devices out there. It seems like it would open up a lot of options to manage your effects right on the mic instead of using pedals, (maybe with the processing being done somewhere down range so you don't need the whole computer in your hand.) Has anyone seen anything like this? Are there standard USB packages that you could hook up to a regular mic? Gaming mice have tons of toggles. I think I have a shape in my head for a mic that would prevent accidental toggling, but I can't seem to find a community that mods things like that.

There is one of these mics for sale on ebay here in the UK with a starting price of 99p (it has a reserve price though). Just thought someone might be interested.
