This is an awesome harmonica! It has the second generation reeds. I would expect it was made after Jan. 2011, but it could have been made as early as Nov. 2010. Well, it could have been built in October, but not shipped until November. We had a problem with a vendor that left us without coverplates for about six weeks, that was a hell of a time for sure, because we couldn't ship anything without coverplates.
Now, there are some that say "FTP 9.0," that actually do have the second-generation reeds. This is where I accidently made a little harmonica history. I mistakenly ordered coverplates that said "FTP 9.0," when they should have said "FTP 10.3." As much as I love harmonica history, that's a fascinating thing for me, there's harmonicas out there with this one little cosmetic quirk that I'm responsible for.

Those "9.0" harmonicas would have shipped in late Oct. or early Nov. 2010. They would have been a few As and mostly Cs.

So you are saying there are the equivalent of 'error card' covers? :)
