For the first time... Coming in 2013 from Hetrick - comb, covers and coverplate screws made in the USA.

Lovely, but do not drop.
Edit: Is there a way to tell which way is up?

They certainly look the part, really nice.
I have to second mr so&so though on his warning about dropping them.

If you want to know wich way is up , just put a key sticker on the mouthpiece or on the edge of the comb...

careful about using the word DuPont unless you have their permission. They are pretty mean about stuff like that

Ido the cost. Hetrick has always worked direct with Dupont to secure materials and ensure their expectations for advertising are met.

from mr so&so,

"Lovely, but do not drop."

Corian does scratch easily but w/ much patience you can polish out blemishes.

i broke a Corian comb at the screw hole. comb was in four pieces. i glued it back flush and polished it out smooth. there is a seam that is visible only if you look very closely.

my concern would be how it sounds. it's the bottom line for me, as always. stock SP/20 covers are thicker lately and take some of the edge off the sound a bit.

perhaps the composition of the Corian composite makes for an interesting tone?
