Here's one I need quite often:

Dad blues - A white sub-genre of originally Afro-American music where musical intensities build upon pompous horn sections, references to fictional past in boxcars and 700 watt amps, and where the success of a guitar solo is measured in the quantity of facial expressions.

I think Seydel endorsers get 30% of retail. Hohner is 50% off MSRP, which is pretty much 30% off retail. Suzuki is 50% off MSRP too, I think.

Most companies also give discounts on parts and non-harp related merch.

Regarding free stuff, Hohner has been very good to me! ;)

If I am not supposed to share this info, hopefully someone will let me know and I can delete this post.

With Seydel, if you sell less than the manufacturer retail price, you are in violation of your dealer agreement. So, it does mean something there, at least with that company.

Prewarify - to bend the coverplates in the back to enlarge the opening in the back of the harmonica.

Prewarifying a Lee Oskar means something entirely different.

If you squish the covers on a LO down real low do you get a low rider?

Steelify - to take a harmonica with brass reeds and change it out to steel reeds.

Pufferhulse - these are the little tube thingies that surround the slide screws in a chromatic harmonica, aka buffer tubes. This is the german word for them and what I call them. Literally translated, it means "shock absorbing sleeve."

Richter - style of harmonica with two reedplates on either side of a divided body - with two reeds per cell (one blow, one draw) that sit on reedplates opposite of each other.

From the video:
"Do it too much and you will break the reeds. Then you don't have a harmonica."

If there were only some way new reeds could be installed where old ones were broken. Perhaps someday, someone will invent some countermeasure for broken reeds.

Back when i made my first harmonica tech video several years ago- I used to have dozens of them up - there was only harp repair/adjust video and it was in Italian. Nothing in English.
I didn't really get any backlash about putting stuff out there like Rupert Oysler did when he put out his DVD, but it all helps me better understand how nobody had anything to worry about when he started that. I've got a good idea of what's out there and the brass-tacks fact is - the amount of misinformation far exceeds actual information.
So we never did reach that point where all this knowledge was out there and people just had to pluck it and not work for it like I and many others did. People coming up today have to filter through all this BS toto figure out what actually works and what doesn't.

Pluck and Plank. two sounds other than Plink when plinking reeds. Pluck is found in the higher register. Sometimes 8 draw will pluck rather than plink like the 9 draw next to it.

planking sounds are rarely good to hear no matter where they appear.

OK these are old but I was inspired by the tight seal:

Q. How do you know there's a harp player at your front door?
A. He doesn't know when to come in and he can't find the key.

Q. How Many Harmonic Players Does it take to change a lightbulb?
A. Don't worry about the changes man, Just blow!

Q. How to harmonica players traditionally greet each other?
A. "Hi. I'm better than you."

Q. Why do dogs howl when harmonica players play?
A. They're trying to tell them how the song goes.

Q. What do you call a harmonica players accompanist?
A. Fido.

Q. What do the best harmonica players have in common?
A. They all suck.

Q. What do you call a harmonica player who doesn't step all over the singers's lines?
A. Deceased

On the previous post about the commonality of walruses and harmonica players looking for tight seals.

I was curious about walruses and why they want tight seals. I thought walruses only ate seals.
