I just saw on Hohner's website that you can buy the red, single harp, Golden Melody case for $12.00.

Let me tell you folks....I have about thirty of these that have only been opened one time and one time only to get the harp out. They have been stored in a cool, dry place and I would consider them mint condition.

The first person that e-mails me can have all thirty cases for $240.00! That is a bargain at $8.00 per case.

I will bust up the bundle, but that will cost you $10.00 per case. Still $2.00 less than the big boys.

Note: If the sticker on the case you buy does not match the key of the harp you intend to put in the case, simply peel it off and write the appropriate key with a Sharpie.

harpdude, you are selling yourself short! Those aren't just "mint condition" harp cases, they are "mint condition" NOS harp cases! I'd say you shouldn't let those babies go for one cent less than $14.

By the way, I've got a small "dime bag" full of "mint condition", NOS, marine band nails. I am willing to let them go for $1.50 a nail. This is a one-time offer, just for you MBH folks... I would NEVER consider selling these for less than $2.00 a pop to the general public!

OMG! I left a LO case sitting on my car seat. It's for a Harmonic Minor, so it's rare, and it's in mint condition! I hope no one breaks into my car and steals it!

(Actually, I know some customizers like to have spares for sending custom harps through the mail with. I bet some of them would at least pay shipping for a box of singles.) :)

I almost bought a single harp case when I was visiting my dad in California. We were down at the hotel where Steve Jobs got married, just looking at the architecture, (couldn't afford to eat there, let alone stay there!) They had some inlaid wood boxes in their gift shop, with a sliding wood top. The biggest, most harp shaped one was a little t0o small for my LO, which was the only harp I had with me. It might have fit a MB, although I think it might have been too shallow for the back ridge on the cover. Aside from a Puck I think all my harps were either too long or too tall, and most would have been both. My only custom might have fit length wise, and my Seydel Blues Favorite might have fit height wise. It was real pretty though. It would have looked nice sitting on my desk, and they only wanted $14 for it. I've got a single harp container that is made out of chain mail. My brother made it for me. He said it was about 10 hours of work. There is a museum I want to visit sometime in Vermont that has all sorts of single harp custom cases.

Very pretty, but not really practical solutions. :)

Reminded me of something. I gave an old friend a cheap harp in a GM case. He said the harp blew out but the case is perfect for a Bic Lighter and one cigarette. Now why would anyone carry just one cigarette?..lol

Isaac is right....If you intend to use my cases for something beside harps that will cost you extra!

In Europe, the average price of a GM+box is not less than 27 euros.
So let's massively request Hohner to sell their GM for
15 euros, or equivalent $, since no need of the box.

Buzadero, that explains it! All the love and care going into a small wooden box... I'm a bit square sometimes. I should have guessed what they were for. :)
