Good job, thanks for posting.This is great for some one thats thinking of getting into repairs. I think its still cost effective just to send them to you.
For any one out there that's wondering, Mark is not a crook so don't worry about sending him a payment, you will get your harps returned in short order and great condition.

It depends on the screws, but magnets can be really useful for corralling too. It's also useful for finding them on the floor in the carpet! :) (I was talking with Buddha one day a couple years ago and he said he used a magnet too.)

That tuning cap is pretty nifty. Nice video.

Shredder! Howzit! don't see your name much anymore. i'm wide open. just finished a blue corian MB custom for my camera man.

howzit Harvey, means a lot coming from a fellow. Mahalo.

nac, what depends on screws? i'm using rivets.

i have a magnet on my slotted gas station screw driver. i use it every single day to pick stuff up.
doesn't work on corian, but i don't like corian anyway.
i dropped a customers comb and it broke in four pieces.
had to buy him a new one even though there is only a slight blemish on the rear BUT, once a corian comb breaks, the structural integrity is compromised for good. Oh well:-)

see yah, mark

Well, it took three or four years but tookatooka (Great Handle!) has finally broken down and commented on one of my posts. I'm in shock! lemme catch my breath here a minute........OK, all better now.

Hey thanks! really appreciate it. tookatooka and lumpywafflesquirt are my favorite user names. both are brits i assume? "Come on Brackett, Let's Get Changed!"

I always read your posts @MP. You normally cover things so nicely I've had no need to comment in the past. :)

oooh a name check :^)
'my favorite username' doesn't say much for the playing does it?
As a harp player, I've got a good name :^)

Yup I am English

"Come on Brackett, Let's Get Changed!" comes from the children's TV programme Chigley and was said by Lord Belborough to his butler Bracket when they had to go and get out their steam engine 'Bessie'

But where did Lumpy Wafflesquirt come from?
This is taken from a book called “Captain Underpants and the Perilous Plot of Professor Poopypants” by Dave Pilkey in which “the evil Professor forces everyone to take new names…”

Use the 3rd letter of your first name to determine your new first name:

A=poopsie, b=lumpy, c=buttercup, d=gidget, e=crusty, f=greasy, g=fluffy, h=cheeseball, I=chim-chim., j=stinky, k=flunky, l=boobie, m=pinky, n=zippy, o=goober, p=doofus, q=slimy, r=loopy, s=snotty, t=tulefel, u=dorkey, v=squeezit, w=oprah, x=skipper, y=dinky,z=zsa-zsa

Use the 2nd letter of your last name to determine the first half of your new last name:

A=apple, b=toilet, c=giggle, d=burger, e=girdle, f=barf, g=lizard, h=waffle, I=cootie, j=monkey, k=potty, l=liver, m=banana, n=rhino, o=bubble, p=hamster,q=toad, r=gizzard, s=pizza, t=gerbil, u=chicken, v=pickle., w=chuckle, x=tofu, y=gorilla, z=stinker

Use the 4th letter of your last name to determine the second half of your new last name:

A=head, b=mouth, c=face, d=nose, e=tush, f=breath, g=pants, h=shorts, I=lips, j=honker, k=butt, l=brain, m=tushie, n=chunks, o=hiney, p=biscuits, q=toes, r=buns, s=fanny, t=sniffer, u=sprinkles, v=kisser, w=squirt, x=humperdinck, y=brains, z=juice

I believe that the system was subsequently changed to make me 'Loopy Pizzasquirt' which is nowhere near as good.

Which makes you [MP] "Loopy Applenose"
I was going to show Adam's, but thought better of it when I saw what it is :^)

i see we have the attention of the inventors 'wheezer and wailer' wailer of "Old Bossy" fame. cool. thanks guys.

lumpy, yes, i've heard of the Chingley program (the populace tended to solve problems by alerting the fire dept or brigade? more often than not) i'm no expert but it appears that two firemen were named Pugh. hence, "Pugh, Pugh." brothers i imagine.

Hmm, Loopy Applenose is very flattering but i'd really prefer to stay w/ "top bloke".

see yah, Mark

thanks robbert!

i felt there were not enough good quality vids on the subject. too many camera phones and dubious audio and noooo detail what-so-ever.
part 2 still in the can, but will come out soon.

paid the camera man/musician/friend/ all around cool guy Charley-who went to London with Evonne Elliman in 1969..whew! a custom harp. a niiiice custom harp.

though i can finally make a good custom harp i try to avoid making customs as a rule. too much humbug.
i like to just get them leakless, fixed, gapped,profiled, and tuned properly.

had to turn my friend groyster down. felt bad. he has a couple Hicksville NY era MBs. oh well. chromaticblues can do it. him good.
