Okay everyone, here goes my first attempt at selling something! I want to sell off my little pignose 7-100 (it's the small, "suitcase" style, battery operated, 7-100). Why? Well, I just got a Digitech rp155, and I need a little CLEAN battery amp now. The piggy has a GREAT dirty tone, but it's not the right amp to use with a modeler like the RP155. So I want to buy a clean battery powered amp like the micro cube or something else in that range for my street playing, but I first gotta sell the pignose so I can afford it!

So here's the deal. You can get a brand new pignose 7-100 for about $80. I'm selling this one for $75, AND I'm including the proper proprietary pignose wall power supply, which is an EXTRA item that normally sells for $15 to $20. The wall supply lets you plug the amp in so you don't have to go through so many batteries when you are just playing it at home or in a venue with a power plug option. So, IMO that seems like a pretty good deal, and I'm only offering it to you guys here on the list. If no one here wants it, then I'll list it at $85 on craigslist. :) But I'd really like to keep it in the harmonica family!

It works very well, has only some minor cosmetic wear and tear, and has a mildly scratchy volume pot (which isn't a nuisance since you mainly just dial in a spot and leave it there. The amp is turned on and off by plugging in your 1/4" mic cable, not by rotating the volume knob.)

Shipping in the US will be $10.70 (assuming it'll fit in the medium flat rate box, which it SHOULD do), and optional insurance would be $2.25 more. So the total price with shipping included would be $85.70, or $87.95 with insurance too.

I'd accept payment by "personal transfer" on paypal, or, if you are long-time member of this forum and I know you, I'll accept a check in the mail (But I'll still have to wait till it clears the bank before shipping). If you are interested in it, contact me at my e-mail address: ullah [AT] archaeologist [DOT] com

If you want, I can post some pictures of the amp and a video of me playing through it....

WATCH THIS SPACE!

I'm cleaning house today, will try to post a plethora of harp gear tonight. Most of it is accessories, maybe a few mics,no more amps, finally down to the 4 keepers. Maybe a few pedals. More than a few harp cases. I need the space and Visa wants a payment, stay tuned.

Rick, what amps did you keep? I know you had a bunch, did you keep the "Zoo and the Alamos?

The Greg modded Zoo was a nice amp, so were all of the Alamos, I highly recommend them. I can't keep them all. I kept a Kendrick Champ clone w/snakeskin tolex, a late 40's? vintage Masco combo w/vintage Jensen P12Q, a Super Sonny 4X10 and the Danelectro Commando 88. All have great tone and the perfect amp for various environments.

This is a make an offer sale. A lot of cases, most of these are great cases for making your own custom harpcases, there is one really wild ready to gig custom built indestuctable harpcase with connector for mic stand. A couple of the cases are vintage cases perfect for mics, cords, pedals and other gear. All mics are in great shape ready to go. The EV 905 is a terrific size with a high Z element, nice hot mic, a little cleaner than a Shure CM. The Military is similar in size but has a lower Z element. The Shure 707A is an original crystal mic, really nice and RARE. email any questions.

Not sure if the Hohner chord harp is for sale, got lost in the mix, but, what the heck, serious offer if interested. BTW: The Shure 707A is highly desirable, serious offers only, thanks.

Whoa, Rick, some cool stuff there! I'll have to count my pennies. A Shure 707A crystal, don't see many good ones anymore, wish I could afford it, must be big bucks.

Do you have any idea how strong the R7 cartridge is?
Any chance of a Golden bug type of demo?

Rick, that EV 905 looks pretty nice, how does it compare to the 605? It looks identical, I always liked the size and shape of the 605. Where did you get that off-the-wall custom tiger skin harp stage case, had it built?

I like the 905, nice size and weight. It is hotter than the 605's I've had, the 605's were dynamic mics, not real hot, pleasing clean tone. The 905 is hotter, still cleaner than my CM elements, not as hot, but holds it's own. I used it a lotwhen I had hot amps that I couldn't turn past 1.5 before feedback. The 905 allowed me to turn up to 2.5 and get a little sag out of the amp. Works really well if you play clean, like bluegrass, gospel or jazz. I bought that wild harp case from the guy who had it built. He wanted a case he could open upon stage and mount to a mic stand. He chose the green exterior and tiger skin interior for effect. It is an attention getter, built to take anything an airline baggage handler can subject it to! He told me it cost him over 400.00 to build.
