Okay, I hope Adam doesn't mind, but the old for sale page was getting cluttered with a couple years of stuff. So here is a brand spanking new one. Here's a link to the old one. Most of the stuff has sold, but it might be useful for researching prices and just generally looking at cool stuff.

Here is a link to the old page:

Listing "wants" might also be useful -- fun, or a different thread. Of course, I "want" a bag of money.

Nastyolddog, this is genius in a kind of anti-social manner, but at the same time simply 'wrong',... Unfortunately there is no way of not seeing what you are warning off. It would be kind if you could link the vid instead of embedding it (leave the warning though ;-).

Nacoran, I replaced the 'sell stuff' link on the "how-to" page.

I have a brand new Manji in Low F. I played it for about 30min. I did open it up to better gap the harp. It will come totally clean - probably more so than it came from the factory. It plays very well, but it needs work to overbend and I decided to not put the necessary time into it.
$35 shipped via PayPal to mfugazzi67 AT yahoo DOT com

I also have David Barrett's Basic Blues Harmonica method book and CD for sale for $12 shipped via PayPal.

Nasty, I was responding to Nacorans' comment about playing with a paper bag over his head. (Your brother covered his head too) He was being self-effacing, joked that the crowd appreciated covering up his face. I thought it would be fun to do the same thing as "the unknown harper", a reference to an American comedian, the Unknown Comic, who tells jokes with a bag over his head. If I get around to making that video I'll post it.

Due to my current financial situation I can't afford to buy any gear at the moment. So what I'm looking for is a straight swap.

I'm based in the UK and don't really want to go through the hassle of sending abroad (although I may consider it for the right deal), so the following is really aimed at UK board members

So guys/ gals, I'm looking for a JT30 in good condition, preferably with a decent CM/CR element in it, but crystal or ceramic is ok too.

What I have in exchange is a Shure 545S with four pin connector and lead. I'll also throw in another 545 which has a good element but is not working as the wiring to the transformer is broken. The element works perfectly though. So you could either use it for a replacement head for another 545, fix the wiring, send it to Greg Heumann to Ultimise, etc.

If anyone is interested contact me offlist at: paulandrewroutledge AT googlemail DOT com and we'll take it from there.

Cheers

Paul

I am willing to entertain - maybe - trading my Double Trouble for a Bassman Ltd or towards a HG50. There are some trade variables I'd be willing to discuss as well.

Since this has been bumped, I am willing to part with my HG Double Trouble. I have a wide range of tubes that can be used with the amp, the padded cover, and upgraded Weber speakers.

The amp sounds amazing and is probably the loudest DT on the planet, lol. This is the best amp I've ever played, but my current gigging situation has me needing some more firepower (looking to score a HG50).

Still looking for a BBE Opto stomp. I am trying to avoid using cash, but would be willing to sell these items outright. I have the following for trade/sale:
Howard Levy's New Directions DVD

1-3 of the American Folk Festival DVD

Willie Dixon: Maintenance Shop Blues (with Sugar Blue on harmonica) - Commercial release from 1981 on a VHS produced in 1992 in great shape.

Rod Piazza's Big Blues Party DVD

I am willing to negotiate some gear in trade as well but would like to be contacted off the forum for that.

I have no idea what each of these is worth, so I hope it is ok to ask you to make an offer offlist.

i have a pretty big pile-at least 20-25- of blown harps stashed away here. sp20, big river, a few hering vintage (i think), and several mb and blues harps in various states of modification. for a while i was drilling/tapping/sealing mb reedplates and combs to get better performance, but once i realized my retuning skills were lacking i left the idea behind. most of these harps have 1 reed blown out, usually but not always the 4 or 5 draw. some are together, some in pieces.

if anyone would be interested in a swap or a cheep buy of cannon fodder for repair/customization projects send me an email for a complete list of what i have. i would take a modest amount of cash or perhaps a good harp or 2 or some other gadget.

i'd like to let them ALL go but night be talked into just sending particular models too.

NEW Harmonicas FOR SALE! $17 Each… plus shipping

Image Hosted by ImageShack.us

Hohner Blues Harp

0 – Ab Edit- SOLD
1 – Db
1 – Eb
4 – F#

I decided not to go through Ebay because they take 9%! I thought I would give this a try first. If it doesn’t work then I will be have to up the price to cover the Ebay fee.

Send me an email at earloungemusic at yahoo dot com with the key(s) that you want. Please indicate your shipping address with zip code. I will figure out the shipping cost and send you a Payment Request from Paypal. Once I get the payment I will ship them out ASAP.

I am not a music store so these harps are sold “As Is”. I tested every harp with the Hohner Examina, and they sound fine.

The dude that I bought them from on Craigslist said he is buddies with a music store owner that went out of business. I believe this story because I also got the display case and the Hohner tester thing too. (Anyone wanna buy a display case?!?!)

Since there are limited keys, this is first come first serve… in order that I receive the emails. I will edit this post as they are sold.

EDIT- All the Marine Band and Special 20 Harps from my earlier post are sold.

Let me know if you want one! Thanks!

I have 7 NOS Limited Edition 1896-1996 Marine Bands, with the gold covers. Will give the forum members here a deal on them before putting them on ebay for more money, just so I might not have to mess with that ordeal. I'll take $25 apiece for them, except one that is slightly marred from movement in the box, will take $20 for it. All are new old stock and unplayed. My email is my user name here, at gmail.com.

Also still have the Peterson strobe tuner, which has been gone through by Peterson's tech department. I'll take $175 for it. C'mon you aspiring customizers, this is the right tool for the job!

I have a Harp Delay V2 that I'd like to swap for a harp delay (v1). I am in the UK so would prefer to swap it with someone who is as close to the UK as possible. The pedal is in excellent condition and has only had about 10-15 hours use. My email is lukejones33 at hotmail dot com. I am also open to offers on a front and center mic which has had about 3 hours of playing time. It is in excellent condition but I am having trouble getting an airtight cup and prefer my RE10.

@Nasty. I do like the pedal but from what I've read, the harp delay gives a darker tone and knocks off the highs of the repeats. The V2 is great if you want a cleaner brighter tone. The V2 works lovely with my RE10 but not so well with my ceramic or crystal elements. I actually won the pedal earlier this year from the lone wolf forum. I had wanted the harp delay before I won the V2 as I do prefer darker tones. I'll cover postage this end if you can do the same your end. I'll find out the postage to Oz at the weekend. Email me off list. Look forward to hearing from you Nasty. Luke
