Building a chromatic for myself.
What I've done so far:
1) Seydel 1847 reeds were placed farther to cover the whole slot. 2) Fixed using Suzuki reed screws. 3) Individual reed selection. 4) Perfect aligning & centering. 5) Reed polishing. 6) Tuned to TrueChromatic LC 7) Intonated to 440hz ET.
What's left to do:
1) Emboss all slots 2) Gaping and arcing 3) Valving using a hybrid system of PT gazelle in the bottom octave and saxony valves at the top 4) Wait for matt chrom TrueChromatic coverplates to be stamped and arrive.

Hey Jim what are those little indentations or marks at the end of each reed? More so the lower reeds.
Nice work by the way. ---------- Oisin

@Oisin:
Those are the retuning marks. I prefer to polish the rivet heel, and tune up. That way I don't make the reed weaker. ----------
