Oh my! George Lindsey died today. I read his autobiography "Goober in a Nutshell" about four or five times. I would recommend it. The awesomest part was when he went to this party and Bob Denver (Gilligan) started talking some smack or something and George figured he whoop his ass, so they got into a fistfight. It was very evenly matched, I suppose, cause they were fighting way into the night and finally everybody was too tired and had to knock it off. Goober and Gilligan in a fistfight. Too bad they didn't have cell phone cameras back then.

A fist fight between Goober and Gilligan ?

I would think Goober would win easily considering his early athletic ability... plus all he would have to say to Gilligan is "Judy, Judy, Judy..." and finish him off while he (Gilligan) was laughing...

@Frank The harp player is most likely Charlie McCoy, since he was the music director of "Hee Haw" and good friends with "The Goob".
