i have recently gotten into the show "pawn stars" and "storage wars." i am sharing this because a lot of the other shows also on this channel are LOADED with harmonica fills and licks. i would sometimes even sit there and practice my ear training by trying to call out the key, then figuring it out with my C harp. This is very helpful for beginners as well as seasoned players because theres a lot harmonica, and you get an interesting show with a lot of american history.

if you have the time, please watch these shows!

Pawn stars is ok but storage wars is just a parasitic cancer on the down and out who lapse on storage charges. I refuse to watch it anymore. Just my opinion.

Bluemoose! Yeah, I'm not such a fan of Storage Wars, for the same reason, but in my case it's a little personal. I had a storage unit robbed, and the best suspect was the unit operator, and the insurance company did their best to not pay up. :(

Pawn Stars is a lot of fun. The one guy from one of the survival shows, Les Stroud, plays a pretty good harp. Anything that is about Americana or toughness seems to get some harp thrown in. :)

One of the kids we look after loves an animated childrens show called 'Timmy Time'. It follows the adventures of a lamb attending school.

Anyway, the soundtrack consists of some lovely blues tinged folk/country music played on banjo and harmonica. UK readers can probably acess it on iPlayer.

Speaking of tv-shows+harp. Has anyone got the news on who's playing the gorgeous intro to "Roseanne"? Is it John Popper?

"Pawn Stars" is one of my favorites, and so is "American Pickers" that also has harmonica.

I don't have cable... just antenna free broadcasts, so I watch them on my computer... never watched "Storage Wars", although I have heard about it, but didn't sound interesting to bother trying to watch one... I may eventually just to see how bad it is.

Most of those shows really bother me.

So much preying on people with anxiety disorders and mental conditions.

The worst thing that ever happened was the praeder willi documentary which was genuine and honest but was turned into a sick meme. I have a family member with it and it is no laughing matter.

Hoarders is the worst. People are amazed at the idea of it. It really shouldn't exist.

The animal rescue stuff is great though. Bringing attention to helping animals in danger is very important.

To think our television choices are like a cops marathon.

Your welcome Free Willy.
I liked the harp in the show Renegade that was on about 20 years ago.
I also like the harp in Storage Wars.
Home improvement was another show that John Logan played the sound track and also on the show a few times. That was pretty good.

Willspear, I suspect Hoarders started out with good intentions. It seems to have become a circle though, where they have to find more and more extreme examples. I've got a couple family members with some hoarding issues, some serious, and have some mild hoarding issues myself, although I'm generally able to keep it under control.

@MP I don't know. I was just a little chrom then!
Just a few holes and a coverplate.
Just a stab in the dark, but I know Charlie McCoy was a studio harp player in demand back around that time?
