Following the advice of copying horn lines has anyone tabbed out the saxophone part of Baker Street? I read that Raphael Ravenscroft said it was an 8 bar blues riff. Any help on key, position, tab or anything would be appreciated.

Don't have any advice but I like the ideal..

"I Just Want to Celebrate" by the band "Rare Earth" is one I want to do on harp...

I can play this on an A minor harp. Very easy riff to play. At work at the moment so can't tell you what the tabs are but I'll have a go tomorrow and post them.

Great song this and good idea for harp. Just watched the vid on youtube and had a C harp in front of me and 'blow me down' it seemed to work ok!

Here's a quick tab I've worked out.

If you didn't want to play the slide from -3** to -5
You could just play -3** & -5 separately instead.

-3**gliss-5 +5-4+4, -4+5-4
-3**gliss-5 +5-4+4,-3**/-3***/-3**
-3**gliss-5 +5-4+4, +4+4+4-3**
-3**gliss-5 +5-4+4, -4+5-4, -2-2**-1

Not going to put my foot in it again as to song key or harp position:)

I tabbed a little bit of it out for a beginner a while back. If Greyowl hadn't beaten me to it I would have looked for that thread.

It's a really, really catchy line. I just don't like the rest of the song after it, or at least not with it. The two parts don't seem to fit. :(

Frank: I've always wanted to do an arrangement of Rare Earth's "Born To Wander" with harp as a main instrument. I love their work.
