Hey everybody, I am new to the board and just wanted to introduce myself.

I live in southern Utah. I have a one man band. Guitar, harp, and vocals, and am pretty busy around here. I am going to expand this year and start traveling more. I just recorded my first CD, it is an E.P., and it should be up on iTunes shortly. :) SO Excited! You can hear some of my stuff at electricwitness.com. I love street performing and have played on the streets of Chicago, New York City, Las Vegas, Salt Lake City, San Francisco, and Leeds, England.

I use Hohner harps, mostly Blues Harps but I have a few Special 20's. I mostly use an older green bullet, through the same pedal board I use for my guitar including a Line 6 POD, Ocatve, Blues Driver, Tremolo, Line 6 DL-4, and Jamman looper, to a Sonny Jr. amp. I also just picked up a Digitech Vocal 300 which was meant for my voice... but I have been experimenting with it and my harps, still not sure yet but it has possibilities.

My dad gave me my first harp when I was 1 and I have had one ever since! I have never done any real studying about the harmonica though, either playing or technical repair type stuff, so I hope to learn from the group here. I have watched youtube vids from Adam and Jason and the like, which I found very inspirational.

About 2 years ago I quit my "day job" bought a School of Rock for Kids, where I teach Guitar, Bass, and Harmonica as needed, and devoted my life to my music and teaching. It's been quite the ride so far!

I am looking forward to participating in the group and learning more about the harp!

Thanks, Dick Earl

Welcome.

"I live in southern Utah."

Can I ask where that might be?

I get down that way fairly frequently. It would be nice to have yet another harp connection in my GPS.

Nah. I'm originally from San Diego, spent about a decade in Louisiana, moved back to California, and now live up in the NE corner of the state.
But, I work in the entire US, sometimes out of the Country, and my wife has family all over AZ, Utah and New Mexico. We get down there often enough. Usually, its hauling rehabbed woodstoves down to the Reservation to help keep the People warm, or some odd family thing of hers. If I find myself headed through St George, I'll be sure to give you a shout.
