Hi everybody

Yes, this is a thread that'll be updated much later, but for the first time of my life I'll play on a "Stradivarius" or playing with a highly high end harmonica, that is nothing to do with my loving SUZUKIS that I will never quit...

But this one is out of the range of ANY harmonica companies

I can't wait

Oh, I don't mean to be disrespectful or sexist. The music is what comes first for me, really, and I do appreciate your efforts and talent. Still...I do wait for the robe to fall open...just a little. I mean it as a compliment to your attractiveness. Please don't be offended. I am an old fat man and completely harmless.

I saw you other message about the instructional videos you threatened to post on you tube, you did not post the address, but I found it eventually.I found the one on breathing,I will have to watch it a few more times to acclimate to you accent. Now you are starting up with this Stradivarius thing. So as far as that goes you are a bit mysterious and yes, a bit of a tease,as far as the Harmonica goes.Or maybe it's just a French thing.

@ Blumaze

If my accent is a problem don't watch...I don't want you to have headache because a french chick tries her best to pass a message...For free

I'm not a tease this lesson like any of the other videos are directly available on my channel

As for this thread there YES I'm teasing in purpose, to share with you the excitement and the wait of having this instrument from that harmonica master

All the above is totally beyond me, with the exception of FMWoodeye and his 'I am an old fat man and completely harmless' - I sure relate to that!

Cristal - how about a lesson on how to understand the hidden meaning in threads such as this?

ps - harmonicanick - if you think French women are hard work you should try a Russian. I'm sure a girl such as Cristal would be very very suitable for any harmonica crazy guy! Russian prefer the accordian!!!

I would be very very suitable for any harmonica crazy woman"

Can we go back to an harmonica subject please? I mean instead of dragging the subject on male/femal relationship.....We can do better than that

Thanks

Edited to say:
Sorry Cristal - our posts passed in ether!

Wow....what the hell happened to this thread? Either everyone is drunk or a bunch of horny young boys came in and took over. By some of the comments made in this thread I think that the posters aren't really familiar with Christelle.

Yeah, I think it is not cool even to joke about. We want women to feel comfortable at this forum. The point is love of the harmonica.

I have a stage II coming and I'm excited about it too. I'd like to try the stage 4 but it really is over my head so it wouldn't be money well spent. I like how Joe spells out these features an kindly asks to save him time and us the money if we aren't going to utilize the fine work. I think for now perhaps two of the stage II's would make more since. Maybe a perpetual reward to myself would be to always have one on order.

I can't wait to see and hear this harp. You know, for a while there, I really thought that the B-Rad had potential of becoming the Strad of harps, a B-Stradical if you will. Obviously that's never gonna happen now. But I really do wanna know what YOU consider to be the Stradivarius of harmonicas Cristal.

EDIT: Ah....I get it now. I really oughta look into some custom harps. Spiers, Filisko, Deak...someone.

Christelle, I can't wait to hear it!!! I've always been curious to see what a J.S. 4 was like. I am very excited for you! I'm still waiting to win the lottery to buy one.

You should open it on camera like a Christmas present.

Thanks a lot Michael this is exactly my point.

Coming back to the main subject, yes it's a Joe Spiers Stage IV and yes be sure I'll review this instrument very carefully

On the side note: I'M A PROUD AND EXTREMELY SATISFIED SUZUKI ENDORSEE, I'll NEVER leave Suzuki and the wonderful Manjis, Just like cars, you can buy a 150 000 dollars Mercedes, but if you want it customised, if you want a product that is extremely personalised, you end up with a complete different product

I didn't recognize the name at first. I came across this lady a couple of years back. Some of you guys trying to be witty and clever ought to have a listen to her playing. This woman is one badass harmonica player. One is not only impressed by her technique but more importantly by her feel. That subtle use of timing, dynamics, and tone. Extraordinary player who deserves much respect as such.

we know Cristal here. she has always been a dedicated and dynamic player with a lot to give and teach. the little boys with terminal hardons always seem to distract Cristal's threads from their intended purpose, to share and teach about music, which anyone can see she feels very passionately. Cristal's passion for harp along with her hard won skill as a player should be enough. i am as redblooded as the next guy but things work best in context. the context here is music and harmonicas. i welcome ANYone's input if it can teach an old dog like me. Cristal is one who has inspired and informed my playing in the short time i've known of her and seen her videos.

to cristal i say BRAVO! and ignore the puppy dogs.

Wow, somehow I missed this thread.... But I am very excited for you, Christelle! You are already a very smooth overblow player - I have always told you that... so it will be exciting to see what kind of results you get with this Spiers harp!

Yes Todd and Rick, before seeing your last video Todd I was suspecting that this instrument WILL help me a lot to put my 2 feet completely in the Jazz....

It's been 1 year that I'm postponing it but now, I can't go back, and YES the Joe Spiers instruments will allow me to be confident in my playing "JUST" concentrating on the harmony, chord changes, playing the scale of Db or B on a C without of being scared that the note might not pop up....

All my recording has been made by stock Manjis set up by....me and I'm NOT at all competent believe me

Todd It's very suprising that you've always consider the overbends as passing notes before the Joe Spiers,

Rick Thats for sure I'll pass in review in a 15 min video the "unboxing" and my first impressions. But I think the major effects of this new instrument will really be heard in 1 or 2 years...

I WANT SO BADLY TO FORGET THAT I PLAY HARMONICA AND HAVING THIS SAXOPHONE PHRASING

Christelle - Your phrasing is horn-like now and with a clear round sound. The new level of instrument can only enhance your freedom in continued mastery of this.

I am pooling my Holiday gifts (I asked for money toward a Spiers harp). I will be able to afford a Stage 3. Has anyone played a Stage 3 and a stage 4? Is Stage 4 so unbelievably better that I should save up and get that?
