What are Yunz guys doin,What gave it away I'm from Pittsburgh?Played my first song in 1959,,six yrs. old on a marine band. And the song was'My Country tis of thee" Patriotic @ a young age.No doubt influenced by my harmonica polka playing veteran father who was an expert first position player only.Still wasn't hear'n the real blues till I got into late teens and early twenties,I think payola did a good job of keeping it off the airways.Well,Well,Well, like Muddy says,i'm goinna go woosh my clothes.

Funny how the harmonica becomes a life long friend no matter what age we start. Think of all the players in the future that will refer members of a community like this back to a 50 year old YouTube somebody made when they were six years old.

@harponica you are exactly right about payola keeping blues off the airways-I first discovered blues on WLAC nashville picking up a clear signal @night to hear John R "way down south in dixie" John R did not do payola and detested it he would play demos on the air to help hopefuls get started in the music business-he retired in 1973 after over 30 years in the business BTW you are very welcome to the blues harp forum
