I'm not sure if I'll be able to pull it off but I'm working on something rather special at the moment for BYBO3.

I'm probably going to upset a lot of the blues harp purists on the forum when I say I'm working on something that I can only describe as being some sort of fusion between Ethnic, Eastern, Trance and Acid House.

I've got the basis of it down but need to develop it a lot further yet. The funny thing is, I haven't a clue what the mode is, it may be Phyrigian? I'm not sure because it tends to resolve on a number of different notes. I don't want to analyse it too much at this stage because it would only confuse me and hvyj would have a field day with the technical issues it throws up:)

If all this goes belly up and I submit a 12 bar blues piece, you'll know I failed but I desperately want to push the envelope and experiment a bit. Fingers crossed.

Won't be for a while yet al. Got a lot of issues to sort out first.

Hey al, I went to your reverbnation site. You have got some really sublime sounds going on there. I listened to the first three and will go to listen to some more in a minute. Excellent.

Don't expect too much from my efforts, I'm only a leisure player, but I try my best.

I'm working on a cover. I'm trying to come up with enough variations in the theme so that it stays interesting without a vocal. I'm going to do most of it on a minor tuned harp, but I may switch to standard for a little bit.

Mine is a famed rockabilly tune that I've adapted to harp...might involve me playing a kick bass drum too...

I've been working on another harpboxing, looptastic number... I did a bunch of trial runs yesterday, but I'm not completely satisfied with it. I may ditch it and try something else. Either way, it'll be an original! ;)

Right now, nothing! But hey, I got 2 months. Chances are if I submit something it will be a cover song probably with singing & playing including an extra original 12 bar solo that I add.
