Noticed a lot of new members about lately and the forum looks a little slow. What with the world financial situation and everything else going on to hack us off I thought it was time to inject a bit of fun back into our harp playing.
For newbies and those that don't know, click my signature image to find out what BYBO2 was all about and you'll have a good idea what BYBO3 will be all about.
It's time to stop talking good harp and start playing good harp. It's time to put your money where your mouth is big boy. Let's see if you're up for it and up to it.
You've been challenged. Do ya want to Blow Your Brains Out PUNK? Well, do ya?
All the information you are likely to need is shown in BYBO2. I'm pushed for time this time around so please see if your questions are answered there before requesting more information or asking questions.

@Ryan, it doesn't matter what you decide to play or how difficult or easy the song is. Just jump in and submit something. I'm sure you could get something together:o)
I dont think im going to have time to write something,in fact i have never written anything original for BYBO so i will probably rip something off and try and put my spin on it.
Its all good fun and gets us all woodshedding, thats the main thing:o)

I'm in! It would be cool to find a short backing track for everyone to use. I think it would be fun to hear the various takes on one track, no matter what skill level.

Good response so far. Thanks guys. I'm looking to a Sept 1st Kick off date to allow 2 months for practice and entries. All entries will need to be in by Oct 31st. Does that sound fair? I'm getting the BYBO3 site prepared and ready.
Your request noted harpdude but we went through this cycle before in the previous challenges and the arguments over what track to use, how long etc etc etc just went on and on and on. Freestyle came out best in the end and everyone was happy.
You could always run a backing track challenge in parallel with BYBO3 but be prepared for an awful lot of discussion and argument before it gets underway. Good Luck if you do.
