I noticed the thread about Farmer Foot drums down there, and remembered about this sweet (seemingly) piece of kit I recently came across in my various interweb searches. It's called the "Kicktronic", and if you read the description, it seems like a PERFECT piece of kit for those of us who are interested in doing the One Man Band thing. If it works the way it's supposed to, it seems like a perfect compromise between going fully digital (e.g, loopers, backing tracks, drum machines), and fully acoustic (e.g., acoustic foot drums, harpboxing). The price is right too ($53 for one foot controller, or $93 for two controllers). Sadly, it seems they are out of stock at the moment! Hopefully they'll produce more, because I would surely like to own one!
