Hi! Welcome to the forum. :)

You should put this on the the for sale page. If you want I can add you to the list of customizers under a subheading for cases. (Click on 'Thread Organizer' in my signature to see what I'm talking about.) Or I can wait until you get your regular site up. Let me know.

Brilliant Design! I especially like the choice to get it with a stand. I hope to get one if and when I am able to afford one.
Well Done

There is a link on my Thread Organizer link, but it's on the front page right now. It gets bumped up whenever something new gets added. (We can't make it sticky.) I added you to the Thread Organizer Customizer list. :)

I hate lookin' at cool stuff like these cases 'cause it sets my 'you know I think I could make one of those myself' genes to just a twitching.

Hi, Slim

Welcome aboard!

I suffer (like many here, I'll bet) from extremely limited stage space. I already have a music stand (because I can't remember lyrics for SH!T), the vocal mic, the sax mic and 2 saxes crowding me up front. So I continue to use the Hohner plastic case, because it holds the most harps in the smallest space (I'm using Hal Iwan's custom foam inserts right now which store 4 more harps than the stock unit.) What I would like is a case in THAT basic form factor - small - that is better quality and stand mounted. Can you do something like that or are all your cases designed around the larger case I see on the FB page?

greg,

why don't you turn a threaded mic stand/harpcase adapter? something that attaches and detaches quickly.

it would sell like hotcakes. imagine thousands of hohner cases w/ the heumannitarian adapter.

@mp: hmmmmmmm. That is a very interesting idea. Do you mean it detaches from the stand quickly, or from the harp case, or both?
I don't think I'd want it protruding from my harp case when it is NOT on the stand - my harp case often sits on the car seat next to me.

Also - as a band member, I can commandeer a stand, no problem. However the market is made up of LOTS of jammers too - perhaps one that clamps onto a stand without requiring access to the threaded end (where there will undoubtedly be a mic clip to start.)

Open to ideas.....

greg,
both. so you could keep the chrome or even ABS threaded thingy in your harp case. velcro is stupid. but..you see where i'm going with this..

or perhaps a two part adapter with a ball bering quick release. the thing to figure out- and you're good at it- is how to attach it securely to any material harp case w/out it being permanent or a pain in the neck.

Maybe you could purchase one of those cases like the ones "Hetrick" uses (to make their cases) from "Harbor Frieght" for $12-$15. Then get yourself one of the foam inserts from "customharpcases.com" for around $39, and find yourself a mic stand adapter that could be sunk into the bottom of the case to attach it to a mic stand?

Otherwise you could buy yourself a stool? They make great harmonica case holders!

The problem with mic stand attachments to cases that don't have one built in is they break under stress after time and end up damaging the case. I will build any case you want so if its a smaller one you want then send me a message and we can design it together, then you will own something truly unique and fits your gear perfect, The case in my pics was constructed after months of research and development to be flexible enough to allow different combinations of equipment to be carried. The lid can be used to hold the harps horizontal and that allows room in the base for more mics, chromatics etc or the base can be made thinner and hold harps too. anyone interested can email me at epworthslim@aol.com Thanks for all your kind comments guys and gals

Anybody use one of these?
The mounting is interesting. An adapter that screws onto a mic stand, with two pins that seem to just slip into holes in the bottom of the case?

Mine will be croc skin! I will post pics when i get it in a month or so.
