Is there a possibility of maybe removing the Captcha with users over 100 posts or something? Or even for certain "trusted" members (i.e. you can select certain members after a probation period)? I have seen that being used on other forums and thought I'd suggest it.

Can we like, I dunno, ban Zack or something?
You draw the line somewhere with this guy and he oversteps it habitually -- He's a habitual line stepper.

The key word here is 'trusted', Zack. You're the only one who still has Captcha. None of us see it anymore. ---------- Todd

The suggestion has been made before (including by me). The forum software doesn't seem to support it. I think it's been passed up to the hosting company as a requested feature, but until they add support for it I don't think there is anything we can do.

@nacoran: You and Zack BOTH still have CAPTCHA?

Again, hvj, the key word is 'trusted'. They're both on some sort of double-secret probation or something. Poor guys...the red-headed stepchildren of MBH. For the rest of us, Captcha went away around the time the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor. ---------- Todd

Ironically, I can delete someone else's post, add members, even (in theory) delete members with no CAPTCHA, but if I want to post something, I have to squint and guess.
It could be retaliation for all my emoticons. I mean, who wants a website filled with emoticons?

yes, the germans bombed pearl harbor cleverly disguised as japanese airmen,-though a few disguised as japanese submariners in mini subs also showed up.
some mini subs got CAPTCHA'D. they are on display at pearl. ----------

I'm very insulted you guys have mentioned such a tragic incident as a joke and then made the Germans look bad. Time for you all to be banned.

Pressing on sensitive topics is a MAIN part of comedy. Being respectful while comedic doesn't mean doing jokes that Jerry Seinfeld would do.
We are not being disrespectful or tasteless.

Has Animal House become that irrelevant?
Bluto: What? Over? Did you say "over"? Nothing is over until we decide it is! Was it over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor? Hell no! Otter: [to Boon] Germans? Boon: Forget it, he's rolling.
