Hey, I'm playing at one of my wife's friends' wedding, actually playing her down the aisle. So Wagner Bridal Chorus on the way down, that Mendellsohn piece they always play on the way out. So, what do I play this on? Obviously, the 48 chord is out , I can play diatonic, tremolo and chromatic. What horn and what key?

Probably a chromatic... this version is in the key of C, so a C chromatic works... you may want to try various diatonics... my Lee Osaker Melody Maker in C (based on a Low F) is okay, but still need to bend the 2 draw notes.
Depends on what key the song will be played in...
Wagner Bridal Chorus sounds alot like "taps" !
This recording seems to start in Bb and goes to F, but seems very do-able on a regular diatonic, depending on what your solo covers... but a chromatic will always work if you're comfortable with it.
Yeah I agree I think a chromatic in that setting (acoustic) with a little vibrato on the last note of each phrase would work very well. It would have to be a loud chrom with a brighter tone.
There seems to be a pattern to when to split and when to just play the chord, but I can only figure it out by what sounds right. I'm playing it in first. I don't have all my harps near me, but I'm betting the horns are in Bb.
