Not sure if this is the original harmonica or not, but seems to be a pretty cool instrument. I especially like sound of the Khaen in the 5 guy stairwell jam video:

I once made a YouTube video in which I showed how to create moaning, orgasmic sounds with a blade of grass, but when a Mexican guy commented enthusiastically on the video, "Hey, bro, that sounds like a little girl being f--ked in the a--!", I decided that I should take it down.
That's very interesting Todd, it's the instrument from my country - Thailand and the way that those guys playing it in those vids are no where near the way that it supposed to be played. Since you mentioned it as the original harmonica made me think of this guy from the north east, he's a Kaen genius - just like a Thai Sonny Terry to me. Oh, and he's also blind : )
