a very early ragged sleeve mouse ear harmonica had high notes on the left.

at first (me and a collector thought)to look at it,it appears someone just took off the plates and just put them back on wrong.
not so. the plates only fit upside down do to a single groove in the reed plate. the groove must face up.
they just won't work any other way.
no matter how you slice it, flipping reed plates or the comb, etc, it wants to be left handed.
wierd huh?

The harp goes in your mouth. What does it matter if your lefty or righty.

i just found it interesting but didn't want to add to the lefty thread.
lots of things that don't really matter are interesting, simply because they are different.
