It's not harp advice, but you need to bring the recording levels up a little for the video. I had to turn my speakers up. :) I have about 10 things I have to do before I get out the door. I'll try to give another listen later.
Nice playing - strong tone and good timing. How long have you been playing?
I'd suggest next to work on your 3 draw bends - perhaps just the Blue Third, minor third and second for now. There's a lot of expressiveness you can bring into your playing by mastering the three hole draw. Other than that, perhaps also work on your vibrato.
And I agree with Diggsblues that you have a very strong foundation to work on.
Can you tell me about the app you used to record this. Did you use an i-pod or i-phone. How about the mic. etc ? It sounds really good to me. Great sound quality. Good playing. That tube sound is pretty sweet. Also, I see that your harp cover plates are screwed on. What adjustments did you make ? Thanks ---------- My YouTube Channel

Sounds good. I've got the same question as ncpacemaker. Do you like the "iRig"? It was on sale at guitar center but I didn't get one as I was unfamiliar with it. ---------- Ozark Rich __________ ##########
Sounds very good to me. Was this all tabbed out or some of it improvised? Either way good stuff. I really should get myself an ultimate 57 I'm jealous. I spend almost all my time acoustic & my harp gear is rotting away, lol.

Thanks for all the feedback! It was a big step to go public with my playing but OzarkRich first video inspired me to do that.
I have been playing for 1,5 years and I am working on "Chicken Shack" and "Baby Please Don't Leave Me" so I can get some time on the bends and warbles.
I am recording with iRig and Amplitube for iPhone and I have a Green bullet with 99B86 elements.
The harmonica on the picture is modified by Dick Sjoeberg ( http: //www.masterharp.com )but I am playing with a OOTB Special 20.
Thanks again PerL

PerL, I just picked up an iRig and tried it last night on my iPhone 4 with a Turner ceramic element. Got a lot of fuzz and not much dynamics on the Fender models in the software. You said you used a Shure CM in your video, but it looks like the photo is an Ultimate 545 or 57? I haven't tried it with my 545 or my Shure CR, but the Turner seemed to overwhelm the software...any suggestions on how to get a more realistic tone with the amp models? ----------
It was a Shure CM but I did not use the Fender amp just the "Chrunch" amp, Delay pedal and some reverb. I will try to reproduce it and get back to you tomorrow.
I tried my 545 but I just got a lot of fuzz through the headphones, on everything but the clean amp, which looks like some kind of blackface reverb. The bass amp sounded OK too. Don't know why, but I just couldn't get anything useful out of it, so I returned the iRig. I still have the app, so maybe I'll try it again if you have some more pointers. ----------
